As you can see, the forums are having severe technical difficulties, hence, I have created a backup forum for discussion, while I try to fix/migrate the data.

You get prize points by posting. Though there is a bug I need to fix (which is why you have none but you are actually supposed to have some). I hope I'll have time to fix it soon (you won't lose anything, no matter when I fix them). You could also get them through contests.
They were used for 'buying' Pokémon/items you could get from the games. We were trying to figure out what else thy could be used for but haven't decided anything.
