I hope you find that clip then I understand what you mean by finding jobs through connections; my brother got a job for this coming summer thanks to a friend of his who works at his father's construction firm. Maybe you can ask your professors for references or ideas of where to look for specific jobs that suit your skills! I'm guessing you tried that already, but there might be even more people at the university that you could talk to.

it was late so I probably worded it wrong. my problem is also that I don't do many different tasks. I now remeber a clip from a tv series where one of the characters tries to break his routine and it works out great for him. I need to find that one. No, it's okay, though I am not so optimistic. There are next to no jobs in my field and for some other things I looked for I don't meet the qualifiactions. another problem is that a lot of people get their jobs by having a friend/relative working in the same company and I don't really have that.

Ah I see, sorry! I just thought you were wondering if I was traveling for the holidays lol. And I can relate, my friend and I always joke about how we always do the same activities and don't have much variety. :P Good luck with the job search! I hope you're getting closer; how optimistic do you feel about it right now? If you don't want to talk about that right now I understand though

okay, I think that's what I meant. not much (yeah, I always reply this but is pretty much true). I am trying to break my everyday routine and do more different things. also of course, still looking for a job (which could help me accomplish the former).
