Can anyone tell me why on earth there are countries where homosexuality is punished by death?
This is really sick...
It's like punishing you for what you are interested in...

I already knew about this, it ain't nothing new. Welcome to the real world. I suggest that you start believing it. By looking at the places where it is illegal and punishable, by death, I can understand why, those places aren't as up to date as the U.S and other fortunate countries, as a matter of fact, they consider a lot of things illegal or punishable by death, such as religion, gender (male and female), your ethnicity, color, looks, ect. So homosexuality is just one of the things. Christians and Americans aren't all that welcomed in the most of the Middle East, they get killed on the spot (not just be law either), and they disrespect their women. Females pretty much don't have many rights in some of those places, its like a male dominated society. In parts of China and Africa, certain religions aren't tolerated, and if you're a Muslim, you get massive descrimination here. In some tribes and countries if you don't give birth to a baby boy, then you're an outcast, and baby girls are always killed or left to die, if not rescued. Homos aren't the only ones who suffer, and they certainly don't have it worse, everyone suffers! That's just how the world is, which is why I'm not surprised by some of the sick things that go on. Btw, Gay marriage has pretty much been banned in the U.S. It must be common where you live, but its not exactly tolerated where I live, and in a heckofalot more places.

Yeah, and look at the places where its a death penalty. The Middle East and Africa. That's not new or surprising. It's just how the world is and has been.

The Middle East is already out of control... I mean, with all the stuff going on there, terrorism, etc... no wonder they have some law like that...

Just walking down the street is a death penalty there, if you get blown to bits.
They have a lot of death penalties, and in some tribes in Africa, having twins is thought of to be a curse, and the babies must be killed o_O and they have sacrifices. If you ask me, that seems a lot worse than aving a death penalty for homosexuality. I mean look at some of the regions in Africa where children are left die, and even in parts of China where having a baby girl is looked down upon and the baby girls are left to die. That ticks me off to no end.
