Pairing is choosing a person (usually of the gender you are attracted to) and putting something like paired with member XYZ in your sig. The other person usually does the same thing with you in return.
Pairs usually are good friends and get in contact very often (this one isn't a duty though).
Pairs are like couples but you don't need to be in love with each other^^
