well, like the title says.
I really liked these games, because of their many secrets and glitches.
They are also like a piece of Pokémon history.
The graphics didn't look that good (except the yellow ones), but some of them were quite funny.
Also the fact that Pokémon was quite new when these games came out made them even more interesting.

Pokemon Red, it was the first pokemon game I ever got and played. It was so new and fun. Since, I had already fallen in love with the show, getting that game allowed me to jump in head first. I love Glitch City :)

I liked it because it was the original. I liked Kanto alot. In Yellow, you had Pikachu, and that rocked!
It was really fun, and I liked the music ^^;
and the glitches are fun too xD

Glitches, they were the best. You know when your hall of fame gets all messed up? Did anyone get really weird music in theirs? Like for a pokemon center, but extra slow.
I wanted to catch an M' and really mess up the game, but I never found one.

R/B/Y were fun because I didn't know much about pokemon back then...... Finding out about all the new things was the best ^^

I think everything cause it was the first one and so new to me. I thought it was cool that you got to go through raising pokemon.

I kinda' like to play FR for a bit, then play Red. It's just kinda' weird to see something go from advanced to...cruddy graphics.

I like Ketsuban being in those games the most. It is how you beat the E4 is what I think.

R/B - Missingno Cheat
Y - Pikachu
The cheat was a glitch but Pikachu was fun and I wish other Pokemon could follow you around in other games.

I liked the Pokemon. So many of my favourites were created in R/B/Y. Such as Charizard, Magmar and Dragonite.

Hmm, that was alright. I never tried the Mew Glitch, however...

The old bleeps and sounds of the game :)
The fact it was new. It wasnt old, used and redone, it was brand new. I pesonally prefered rubbish old graphics at age of 7 to new graphics at 14

The graphics of the sprites, the sounds of the Pokemon's cries, ect. It also kinda gives you a nostalgic feeling when you play those games. Or at least I think so.

The originality of the Pokemon. Most of those Pokemon are based off animals IRL, and in D/P, there's a bell Pokemon. Well, you get the idea.

I remember something that I used to like about R/B/Y. You can keep using moves like wrap/bind against the enemy, and they cant move at all. But you have to be faster than them. Then again, the enemy can use the same thing against you.
Same thing with Sleep Powder.

The fun glitches, and the simplicity of the game. No breeding, no genders, no natures, no EV's, none of that junk, and all of the TM's were clonable, so it was a lot easier to get a good, usable team.

That's basically what I'd say, except that I also liked that there weren't so many Pokemon to deal with.
