To whom has played or known about Pokemon Emerald (Warning: major spoilers)

Hi, I just bought the Pokemon Emerald version but I"m afraid to open it up because I heard that it's a lot the same as Ruby/Sapphire version. What do you think about this? If you have played it, do you think there's any BIG difference that make the game MUCH MORE interesting? Or is it just the same as Sapphire/Ruby but little changes that doesn't account for anything? :confused: PLEASE ANSWER, THANK YOU AND LUV Y'ALL!!!!!

It's not that different, yet there are definitely more changes than between RB and Yellow or GS and Crystal..... Do you want me to spoil and tell you the differences?

All right, here we go:
The main character is dressed in green, Vigoroths do the moving at your house instead of Machokes, all those not-so-important details that make it look new ^^
If two trainers see you at once, you have a double battle (many trainers are arranged so that they'll do that)
The Match Call is in the Pokenav instead of Trainer Call, it works like a cross between Trainer Eyes and the G/S/C phone.
In the Bag (which is, surprisingly, green) there are pictures of items, sort of like in FR/LG.
Instead of lower-rank Contests, there are Battle Tents where you battle with adjusted rules, for three wins in a row (I've been to the Rental pokemon only tent, the tent where a judge judges a battle to determine the winner and the one where the pokemon move on their own, without commands from the trainer). I find these to be great additions; they'll really improve your battle style & they're fun too ^^
That's how far I am (yes, I'm slow -- I'm enjoying the game ^^)
From what I've heard:
You can catch Kyogre and Groudon before the Elite4, get both fossils, complete the Johto pokemon collection you started in FR/LG
Obviously, there's the Battle Frontier, if you like the tents, I think you'll love the Frontier ^^
Also, pokemon abilities now do nice things out in the field, such as Flame Body (Magmar) heating an egg so that it hatches faster and stuff.
Oh, and the Everstone is supposed to help pass Natures down to the offspring when you breed.... And Pichu can get Volt Tackle, too.
Hm, that's all I can think of now... I'll edit this if something else comes to my mind....

You know what, I'm actually gonna play it ^^. I got it for $25 (@Circuit City). Talk about luck, I GOT THE LAST ONE!!! while it was on sale, now, it's like $35 or so.

i already told u that game sux as hell..its like ruby ans\d sapphire but emerald has more trainers...and stuffs...3/4 of it is old and 1/4 of it is new....so its kinda suckey
