Sorry, I know no faster way. The fastest you can get is IMO taking all your pokemon from the PC (six at a time) and talking to the old man in Pacifidlog... And repeating that every day.....

You need a mirage island sensitive pokemon, and they can randomly be found in the wild. It could be any pokemon, so you wouldn't know when you get it. Then talk to the guy in the right side of the house, he will tell you if you have a Mirage Island Sensitive pokemon currently with you. You have rare chances of getting there. It was like on route 131 right? Yeah, I think so.
Well, its pretty much hat ECK said.

There are no pokemon that are "mirage island sensitive" (to use Little Rukario's term) all the time. Every day it's different pokemon.

That's why I said it can be 'any' pokemon. Any pokemon can be 'mirage island sensitive'. Even if it differs each day, it still applies.
BTW, I didn't create the name 'mirage island sensitive' it's been used before a lot :p So I wouldn't take credit for it :D

Yeah, keep on visiting the old man, and see what he says. I gave up though. :X

I'm pretty sure this will work.
1. Save one day, but near/next to the man who tells you if you have a "Mirage Island Sensitive" Pokemon.
2. The next day, talk to the man. If he "can't see Mirage Island..."
3. Soft reset. You can do this by pressing Start, Select, A, and B at the same time.
4. Keep on doing that until the man sees Mirage Island.
There you go!

Where did you hear this, Pichu Lover? If it came from a credible source, I'd believe it, but there are too many "sure ways" to get something like this easier and faster that I'm very sceptical....
Did it work for you?

I got it from the Serebiiforums. Also, it works for the Pokemon loto ticket too...

Are you sure? Because as far as i know, what you have to do is this:
(Note: I totaly and fully apprieciate Serebii.net, as it is one of my favorite pokemon sites. I did read what they had to say, and this is what i got out of it.)
Say you have a treeko, grovile, sceptile, mudkip, swampert, and a marshstomp in your party. You go see the old man. If he says" I cant see mirage island today." then you give up for the day, and go do something else. Then you go and see him every day for a month with the same pokemon. You might also switch pokemon 300 times a day or so, so that you go and see him with the first 6 pokemon of the pokedex. Then you go and see him with the next 6. And so on and so forth. You might be able to go, i dont know. It sounds good in theory to me, but i dont know for sure. Again, the theory is worth a try. Although that means you have to complete the Hoenn pokedex, or maybe even the national pokedex, dont worry. With hard work and a fare bit of luck, you will find mirage island............someday!

I really doubt it. I think the chances of going to Mirage Island is even more than catching a shiny Pokemon since you don't always have the chance to visit the man everyday.
