Ok, someone might not know but these are the words that often used in the forum:
XD - A symbol that implies Laughter or joking. If you look it sides way, you'll see that the X is the eyes crossed out and the D is the mouth

OMG - Oh My Gosh

^^ - happy eyes (w/no mouth, if it has mouth, it would look like this: ^_^ or this ^^,)

ZOMG is the same thing. The 'Z' really implies no word or phrase. It's often a cynical response to 'leet speak'.
