I see many people are making these guides. But I'm pretty sure there is no recent guide on cloning with a router. That's right-- a router. I know that many people have one, and the 8th spin method primarily works for USB Keys. Not routers. If I had a video camera and a person to help me film, I would make a video and prove that this can be easy.

Pre-needs:
-A router
-Where the WLAN light is. If your router has a light named 'LAN', I suppose that works too. I use a Linksys router, pretty dependable for cloning.
-If you want to clone easily, I suggest you close all internet browsers on all computers. This way, less traffic is created for your router, and it won't blink/flash randomly.
-Make sure your eyes all alright because you will need fast reflexes for this, and if your eyes are sore, rest them for a while.

My version (I hope it works for you):
-Fly to Jubilife city.
-Go to the GTS Trade Station building.
-Make sure you have a max of 3 Pokemon with you. The order should be: 1st random Pokemon. Second random Pokemon. Pokemon you want to clone.
-Your Poketech app should be at number 6 to make sure your Pokemon is still with you after you clone it.
Important: You must not have a Pokemon already in your Summary box. If you do, take it out and put it back into your box. You cannot have four Pokemon in your team with you when cloning, because you will not be able to take your clone out/it might get traded in that time.
-Alright, go into the GTS Trade Station.
-Access the 'SUMMARY' Box. Put said Pokemon up for trade.
-Ask for something impossible to get. IMPORTANT: People nowadays are making more Palkia's level 9 and under via PokeSav. I suggest asking for a starter level 9 and under, since I have never received one when I clone. I would refrain from asking for level 100's, because those are pretty popular and people really do have/PokeSav them.
-Put your Pokemon up for trade with caution. You never know, it might be traded. If you are very paranoid and don't like taking chances, you might as well clone with an AR.
-Now, at the loading screen, look at the WLAN light on your router.
-It will blink the first time. DO NOT shut your DS off. Wait till it blinks a second time. So basically, it will blink a little once, and then it should start blinking rapidly a second time (only after a while). At this time, YOU MUST turn your DS off. Either at the first blinking part, or a second after it. I suggest you try to turn it off as quickly as possible, because most times it won't get cloned if you don't move fast enough.
-Turn the DS on.
-You will reach a BSOD. THIS IS NORMAL, NOTHING TO BE SCARED OF.
-Go on to your Pokemon game.
-Remember how app number 6 was supposed to be on? If your Pokemon is in your party, it either means...
a) You have successfully cloned it.
b)it was drafted to your party and you will have to clone all over again.
-If it is not in your party, it is probably on the GTS. Get the heck there before it can get traded!
-Proceed into the GTS.
-If there is a summary box, congratulations. You have cloned.
-If you have yet to clone, don't fret. I had to try a lot to get my first clone just right. Keep trying, I promise you will get a clone sometime.
WORST CASE SCENARIO'S:
-MY POKEMON GOT TRADED OMFGGGG I HATE YOU U LOSER I HAAAATTTTEEEE YOU!
Like I said, if you are paranoid, do not GTS clone. You have to have some level of faith, and I am very sorry. This happens, it's life. I can't tell you how many Pokemon games I've lost.
-...I still can't clone, darn it!
Try harder. Took me max 10 tries to clone my Shiny Eevee. In the end, I tried hard, and persevered. Yay me.
-MY GAME GOT ERASED?!
The person who first found this glitch out just recently found out that only VERY FEW GAMES were erased. Don't worry, this WILL NOT happen to you, unless you really glitched up your game a lot.
-I TRIED LIKE, 20 TIMES AND I CANT CLONE WHYYYYY
-Depends on your router sometimes. My router was refusing to let me clone last week. I lived.
-My router is totally different. I HAVE NO CLUE WHERE THE WLAN LIGHT IS
Sorry, I can't help you there. :/ My router has the lights labeled, and WLAN is one of them. Ask your parents, then.
