Anyone who was forlorn over the lack of English Pokemon manga, rejoice!

Viz is going to publish the Diamond and Pearl Manga (http://bulbanews.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Viz_to_unleash_Diamond%2C_Pearl_manga_on_U.S.).

It's not Special/Adventure, it's a different series based on the game's plot (as far as I can tell).

Ok, whatever. Might as well give it a shot. As long as it's drawn nicely and has a decent plot. And we need something following the games. I like that. :)

I heard about that on SPPf's manga section a few weeks ago(but considering that I was the only real manga fan here at the time, just that nobody was posting here at the time)

I read parts of it in Japanese. The art looks really funky, and so does Dawn's character.(also in the Japanese version, they don't use their original names) :/

It does look a little less.... super weird than Adventure. I love how to change the look they really seem to mainly just give them messy hair.
