I'm asking, because I never did, although they show it here.
I think it's just too strange to watch and I'm actually not interested in the story.

I've been watching it. It's actually OK. The theme song is kinda catchy. I won't make a habit of watching it, though. It can be a bit annoying at times.

if any of you are talking about the dub OP, you're crazy. The dub is TERRIBLE! It's like they took the awfulness of every dub on Earth and decided to multiply that.

The story isn't bad, I'll stick to the manga until everyone at 4Kids realizes the only thing they do right is Pokémon, and they steralize that so it's American.

I watch OP! The theme tune IS catchy. But OP is far from awful, compared to some other stuff. I dont know how much better the manga is cos I dont have any spare cash. My friend got some of the manga though.

...well, ,lets just say they have real guns, and sanji smokes, he dosn't suck a lolly pop. and I here they really messed with the story. Zoro's (who you know as Zolo, what a crappy name change) friend didn't get knocked out, she friggin' died. He swore to become the best swordsman because she was better than him, and they made some promise. I bet anything they don't even say why Red Shoes lost his foot. for the record, he ate it to keep himself from dying.

I know this is mean sounding, but I can't believe ANYONE thinks that opening is good >.<

Well the problem with 4Kids like you say, the only thing they do Right is Pokemon, I only watched a few at the start but then totally forgot, if I really liked it I would watch it all the time

Yeah, that thing with Zoro's friend is confusing, in the one of the early episodes they said she fell down the stairs and died, but then they said she got some injury. I was like, what??
And red shoes ATE his foot?

I've seen a few episodes of it (dubbed though). It seems pretty good (despite it being dubbed by 4kids)^^;
I"m not surpised they change the story at all. That's 4kids for you. :/
And the theme song... it's better than some 4kids dubs, but not exactly the best.

...so a rap is better than, say, the oepning to FMA, or Read or Die OVA, or Ghost in the Shell? I'm trying to think of BAD openings that arn't 4kids related, I can't. Maybe RoD: The TV, but that one isn't really bad.

They replaced Sanji's cigarrette with a lolypop -_- Editing really can hurt at times.
Sanji is my favorite character, he's so cool and layed back :cool:

At first 4kids was the main reason why I dispised One Piece.

But, one day at my friends house I watdched the Japanese version. and the rest is history.

However, I don't like the Japanese anime because it has too many fillers.

Other than that. One Piece has the best story i've seen in an anime so far, and I dare say the story, character development, drama, action, and other things are better than Naruto. It's story really has me nito the charcters and makes me feel emotions. Not many other anime can do that any more.

I still read the scanlated manga about the latest story developments. and the story is still good

I dont recommend 4kids version. I rather have you read the manga off of a MSN group. Just not 4kids. They killed the whole thing. (Why does Luffy have a under-puberty voice?)

Because in the Japanese version of the anime, he STILL has an under-puberty voice (Kinda reminds me of Japanese Goku)

Funny thing, the MSN group is where I read all my One Piece Manga :D

But lately I have to join the group to read some of the newer ones.

They're in a desert to help stop a rebellion of their friend's kingdom (then again, what kind of pirates stop rebellions?)

Still is a great story, also I caught up to the latest story developments.

and even after all this time. it STILL contains all the humor from the first chapter.
