#395 Empoleon

Empoleon. What do I think of it? I'm a huge fan, and in my opinion the biggest fan. It's unique typing and amazing special attack stat make it a great battler, even with it's limited movepool. And finally, we get a penguin pokemon that can really battle.

So, discuss... and stuff.

I must say it's a spectacular counter to SpecsMence.

Ain't bad, it can learn Grass Knot.

I think it's too bulky. It isn't very fast, and if a level 100 Mudkip was up against a level 100 Empoleon, and the Mudkip knew Dig and Earthquake... meh.

My rival's Rapidash almost brought my Empoleon down... I didn't really train it in the first place.

My favorite animal is the Emperor Penguin, and my favorite color is navy blue. But for some reason, I'm not a huge fan of Empoleon.

This actualy was my very first real favorite pokemon, but now it has a nice 3th place :)
The type combo is awesome. it adds some weaknesses to him (OMG EQ!) but also even more resstances (sp), his look is cool and the fact he is based on Napoleon makes him a good lead :P meh, delete that. the fact that he is based on napoleon is just awesome!

Since I've posted in this thread in November, I've actually grown to love Empoleon. He is now in my top 5 favorite Pokemon of all time.
