#045 Vileplume

What do you all think of the giant walking flower Vileplume? I think that she is a great Pokemon, with a simple yet nice design. She is one of my favorite Pokemon and I use her frequently in Pokemon Diamond. She isn't exactly good in competitive play, but could anyone recommend a good move set for her?

I like its looks, but I don't think I've ever used it in my team before.
Sometimes I forget that it exists, I dunno why, it just doesn't show up as often as other Pokémon do^^

i like that pokemon to, its design is good and i love his stats.
i think you need a powerfull grass type move and a powerfull poison type of move for it stats set.
plus two weakening move like sleep powder will make it perfect

I love Vileplume. It has a great design combined with nice stats. It's a shame it only gets Leech Seed through an event.

Vileplume @ Leftovers
Modest nature
- Energy Ball / Grass Knot
- Sludge Bomb
- Sleep Powder
- Stun Spore / Aromatherapy
Double STAB combined with some annoying moves. Energy Ball is the preferred option if you're using Vileplume in the lower tiers, but Grass Knot may be better in OU with the abundance of heavy pokemon there. If you choose Stun Spore in the last slot, you have a nice effect called "DoublePowder". You can just paralyze the opposing pokemon which can't sleep due to Sleep Clause. Aromatherapy is nice if you lack a cleric, since Vileplume is quite sturdy.

Hey... that doesn't rhyme.

Viley ol' Vileplume. It can learn Petal Dance, but I still like Roselia better.

(poddish?)Vilplune is nice,it can learn some good moves,but mosty it goes with causing stat. conditions(i hate glooms,there stinky:\)
