Ok, everyone, who watches tennis occasionally, knows this: rankings. You get points for the things you do in tournaments, and with those points they make rankings. In this Challenge we are also going to do something like that. The Star Challenge is a collection of tournaments, where hopefully, many people will fight.
Ah, you get points when you join tournaments?
Indeed, the further you come, the more points you earn. Even the people that lose the first round will get points.
How can I, let my tounament, count for points (of the star challenge)?
You can't do it yourself. Only people allowed to can enter your self-made tournament to the Star Challenge. You can easily see if your tournament has been entered by an emblem.
An emblem!? What does it look like!!!?
Here it is:

Only Swellow, Empoleon ( founders of the tournament ) and Umbreunatic can give this emblem in your topics. Commiting fraud gives you a problem.
If I may give points for my tournament, how many points will that be per round?
Here is a list:
Round 1: If you lose in this round then you get 5 points.
Round 2: If you lose in this round then you get 10 points.
Round 3: If you lose in this round then you get 15 points.
Round 4: If you lose in this round then you get 20 points etc
Per round that you come further, you will earn 5 points more. The winner gets 10 points more than the last round. An example of a tournament with 16 participants:
Round 1, 16 participants left, the 8 losers get 5 points.
Round 2 ( Quarter Finals ), 8 participants left, the 4 losers get 10 points.
Round 3 ( Halve Finals ), 4 participants left, the 2 losers get 15 points.
Round 4 ( Final ), 2 participants left, the loser gets 20 points, and the winner gets the points of the loser + 10, thus 20 + 10 = 30 points.
Ah, but what do I get, except honour, for standing on the top spot?
In big tournaments, that will be organised by Swellow, Empoleon or Umbreunatic, the best 4 or 8 people will be placed on their ranking in the first round. This way, battlers who have a high rank will avoid other players who have a high rank. You'd better score some points in the smaller tournament, don't you?
What's the special thing obout big tournaments?
They have a special price ( e.g. an event pokémon or something ) and you can score extra points in them.
Are there even more tournaments?
Only one, this tournament is being organised twice a year and is exclusively available to the best eight battlers on the ranking. Its name is 'The Final Eight'. It's like a clash of the titans. So, try to score enough points to enter this 'clash of the titans'.
Where can I find the ranking?
When the first tournament has been played, you'll find a link here.
Random fact:
If you manage to beat a player that has been 'placed' into a tournament, you'll earn bonuspoints.
If you have questions or remarks, please send a PM, or just reply in this topic.
