Our specialities include- well, between us practically any form of Pokémon sprite. We guarantee you'll be satisfied- and if not we'll redo and redo until we're sure you're happy.


Meet the staff

Hi I’m SHTR. I’ve known D'Artas for around a year now, meeting at SPPF, but we haven’t let that affect us . I’ve been spriting now for 10 months, ever since D'Artas first taught me the art of the recolour back in August. Since then, I have progressed to doing many other different forms of spriting and, in the words of D'Artas himself, have developed my own style.

I mainly specialise in Revamps and Fusions, but have recently developed a talent of drawing Pokémon, which I then load onto the computer and scratch. This is something that would never be found anywhere else, but does take a while. Also, while these have unique poses, I will still have some creative liescense with them.

Hey, I'm D'Artas. I expect you won't really know me; I haven't been at PI for very long. Don't think I'm a newbie though- I've been forum-hopping for years and spriting most of that time. I've known SHTR for over a year and I consider him a good friend, I'm glad to be working with him again. Back when he was first getting started with spriting I tutored him, though he's come on miles since then and has developed a unique style that I could never have taught him. My specialities are fusions and scratches but I have considerable experience with most spriting techniques. I have another thread here (http://piforums.info/showthread.php?t=3936) if you want a more detailed look at my work, but here I've included what I consider to be my best (from left to right) recolour, revamp, trainer sprite, devamp, scratch, fusion and Porygon-Z fusion (a speciality of mine, there are many more in my old thread).

For you artsy types, my spriting style is quite open in that I often make changes to original sprites, even in simple changes such as recolours. You'll find that many of my fusions and revamps include a lot of scratched areas, in contrast to SHTR's preference of keeping the original sprites as in-tact as possible. I do have a tendency to over-simplify my work on occasion but I think that sometimes less is more when it comes to sprites.

Hm? They're pretty clear, maybe the image hasn't uploaded properly. I can see the updated one in my post, though...

It might be your browser, some don't update images after the first download unless you ask them to. I'll upload it under a different file name, that should solve that problem if it is what's wrong.

On the other hand, it might be that I've just not done a good enough job lol, if that turns out to be the case then I'm really sorry and I'll have another go.

I'd offer a redo, but you'd have to wait 'till I was back home. You could ask SHTR to do it, though I dunno if he'd want to.


As you can see from my sig, I'm going out for a while and may be some time, so all requests for the next two weeks will be handled by SHTR. I hate to abandon you guys like this, but I've been looking forward to this trip for over a year so I think you'll understand when it takes priority.

Those actually are feet lol, they're just Togekiss' feet recoloured. I can take 'em off or make 'em blue but neither would look very good IMO.
