View Full Version : How to tell if your event Pokemon isn't legit.

Yes I know Chris made something on SPPf to help but people may still hack the ID number and name.
It's been to my attention that many of the supposed event Pokemon had the female pink names instead of blue. Did you know these are most likely fake? From the Nintendo events I've been and come to know, the names of the OT are suppose to be BLUE for male not female. You have to watch out for this-it's kind of hard to spot if you really want something but it's important.

Alright, I have a Celebi that this guy traded to me over WFC. He said he used 'special' Nintendo Software in order to make the Celebi. I think it's PokeSav, but what do you think?

That's not really considered to be legit. There's no 'special' Nintendo software that makes it legit. In fact, Nintendo doesn't encourage such uses.

Oh and edit: The events with the Pink OT names that are legit are the 10Aniv and TRU (Toys "R" Us).

Darn. It had his OT, too. The Celebi looks totally legit, too. It was holding a Lum Berry, and was at level 70. But it came form Kanto, so...

Hm...that is hacked.
The original ones are 10Aniv.

Unfortunately, it is hacked, because its OT is 10 ANNIV, while the legit OT is 10ANIV, and the ID is supposed to be 06227 if it was from Spain's 10th Anniversary, and there's another one from the Journey Across America where the OT is 10 ANIV while the ID 00010.

Hope the explanation is good
