If you were to live in another Era

A random question I thought up some time ago.

If you were to live in another era in time, when would you like to have lived? You can be your current age.

I would have liked to live in San Francisco in the 1930's and see the construction of the Golden Gate bridge.

That, or Boston, MA in the 1900's

You can even choose to go further back in time, anywhere, any time.

A fascinating question. I would probably like to live in Britain during the Middle Ages.

Despite free reign of diease and grime, I think it would be a really interesting time to live. I've always had a bit of an adventurers spirit, and this would be a time of exploration and discovery like nothing we have now. The world would still be quite unexplored and you would have a real chance to go where no man has gone before. I don't like the time we live in now, it's a bit of an intemediary stage where humanity has gone wherever it has the capability to go. Our technology is in limbo between exploring the earth and real space exploring, and there's very few places that are truly unexplored. I often dream of being out at sea, with only the stars to guide you, and so yeah I'd like to live in a time when that were a reality.

Sorry about the clichéfest lol, but this is something I think about a lot.

Mostly because I love the gods they have.

The US, sometime between 1870-1929. The US sounds really interesting in that time frame if you ask me. Maybe not the best time, but it sounds fascinating to me.

Other than that, probably the Orkney islands during the Iron Age. None of the pressures of modern society.
