The sun rose like any morning.
The pigeys flying past my window woke me up and the smell of my mothers pancakes and home made soup drifted around the intire house and then I remembered the big day today.

I was getting a pokemon and moving house.

so a jumped out of the sleeping bag and pulled it into a small black bag.

I also grabbed the pair of clothes my mum ironed for me that were just a pair of combats, a stripy brown top and a nice sparkling pair of white shoesthat were hanging on the door.

After I got the clothes I rushed down the landing and into the bathroom then locked the door.

While I was in there I put the clothes on and went over to the little small mirror on the shelf and brushed my teeth and spiked my hair up with my gell then put my mirror and all into the black bag.

Then follewed the song of the pancakes and soup calling my name for me to demolish them in my mouth so I went down stairs past the bare livingroom and came into the kitchen.

When I entered the kitchen there was nothing there but two fold up chairs and a table with the pancakes an soup on it and there was my mother feeding the magikarp that we caught one day with our daddy on our fishing boat.

Olso my runt of a sister Courtney feeding the pigey that we were using to make sure the van with our furniture in it gets to the right destination so my mother took it out of the cage and told it to fly to dewford town and with that command the bird flew out the window and headed for its destination.

Then my mother turned around and said "you better hurry for were leaving in half an hour and you have'nt got a pokemon yet," so when she said that I gobbeld the pancakes and slurped down the soup and rushed down the hall put on my coat and said that "I'll be back in a minute" and my mother told me to "choose wisley" so I said "ok" and ran out the door and down the path to proffesor oaks lab.

As I ran to proffesor oaks lab I seen at the corner of my eye a boy with a goldeen fighting a tentacool.

I felt sick for I hated water pokemon because when I was a baby I was playing at the beach and went into the water and a tentacool brought me under and one stung me with a poison sting and I was afraid of water pokemon ever since.

So I took no notice and ran onto proffesor oaks lab.
When I got to the doors of the lab I was out of breath and about to open them when the door swung open and threw me to the ground, so when I got back up I looked at the person and there I knew why he didn't help me up it was Cory.

Cory was a boy I hated since primary school and we never got along,he was wearing a purple and blue top with blue jeans and five pokeballs.
He turned around and chirped "people like you should never be trainers and we'll be rivals and anytime we met we'll battle to see who learnt more than the other."

So after he sayed that he told me that he would love to stay here and chat but he had a gym badge to win, so after he done that he ran into the forest and was gone, so when there was no one around I twisted the handle and went in.

When I looked around all I seen was people on computers and machines doing some stuff that I could'nt understand so I walked up to a table and seen a button and it was tempting me and as I went to push it a man on an metal base sayed "NO" and before his screams got to my ears I pressed the button and a beam of light came from the machine and an explosion, but when the smoke went away the man was lying on the ground and then I noticed that it was proffesor oak.

So I ran over and helped him up and he shouted in an angry voice "what do you want."

So I told him I was here for a pokemon and he said "sorry I thought you were a intruder and I was about to phone officer jenny," but after he cooled down we went to the table and he he pressed the button but this time a when I looked three pokeballs sat on the metal base and proffesor went over and lifted them up .

The the pokeballs were a sparkling red and white and had a beautifull stand and they had name tags on them and oak said "witch one will you pick" and I sayed automaticly bulbasaur but when I threw the pokeball nothing was in it and then oak remembered that he gave that to Cory and so I choose charmander and he said "charmander has the flu and needes treating so I asked what pokemon was left and oak told me to find out and when I threw the pokeball a big red flash came out and there was standing my worst fear.

A SQUIRTLE!

So when the squirtle came out it just stared at me with a really scary looking grin and the proffesor said that this one was the hardest pokemon to get rid of but now since I picked it he was very pleased, but I told him that I did not want it but he remarked that it was the only pokemon left so he sayed that we would get along brillaintly and when the proffesor sayed that the squirtle that was my new pokemon squirted a bubble at me and I got the pokeball and sayed "you evil little munskin" and wacked it across the head with its pokeball and it went back in the pokeball with the red flash.

When I hit squirtle proffesor told me that "you can't do that to pokemon" so I sayed ok and I noticed the clock on the wall and it sayed 3:25 and I started to panic because I only had five minutes till our stuff leaves and we have to go with it so I sayed "goodbye" and he sayed" wait" and pulled out a red device and sayed "t's a pokedex"and I remarked "thank you"and ran out the door and headed for the beach.

when I got to the beach I seen that my mum and dad were shouting for me to hurry up so I ran after them along the bay and my mum just grabbed me and pulled me on and said," what pokemon did you get" and I let the squirtle out and my mother started laughing because she had thought of the tentacool incident.
While we were driving along on the boat two seakings were jumping in and out of the water and my squirtle started talking to them and suddenly I was blasted by a strong water gun and when I looked up my squirtle was laughing as usual and the seakings were gone.

Then after a few hours my dad sayed we are parking are boat now and when jumped of the boat and put my feet on the soft sand I just stared and my mum said "welcome to your home
DEWFORD."

When my dad strapped the boat to a little wooden pole, courtney and my dad ran to the house to find that everything was being put in the way it was in our old house in pallet.
Mr mimes and ralts were using confusion to lift the haevy furniture from the van into the house.

So when the people and pokemon went we got settled in and my dad said that he would have to get to work straight away for he was a explorer and we moved here because he found out that there was ancient stones and rocks to be found, so I went with him to train my squirtle and possibly catch a pokemon.

So me and my dad walked out the door and ran to the cave.

when we got to the entrance of the cave and there was an old man with dirty old clothes with two pokeballs.

He looked like he was sleeping but me and my dad walked on passed and but he grabbed my left shoulder and told us to stop, so we done as he told and me and my dad were given pokemon.

We were both given ralts to guide us through the cave because the old man said that if you did'nt have a pokemon that knew flash that you would probably get lost forever, but we didnt believe him and took the ralts and went in.

When we got in it was pitch black so we sent out the ralts and they started glowing witch all of a sudden made the cave a bit brighter and easier to see, so with that we started walking and then we heard a screech coming from the top of the cave and when we looked up it was a?

Zubat.

I as I seen that i knew this would be the pokemon to catch for my big brother had a zubat and it was the best.

So I commanded my squirtle to come out of its pokeball and attack but when it came out it just stared at the pokemon as if it was'nt there, so I told squirtle that if it attacked it would get a big bunch of pokeblock so with no excuses squirtle breathed in and out came a big blast of water that was a water gun and hit the pokemon, and when it was up there I threw a pokeball.

When the pokeball came falling down me and my dad gazed at it in amazment as the pokeball started shaking and then made a booming sound and then we knew it was caught so I ran over and lifted it up and brought it to my dad witch was very pleased and then there was a screech again.

but when we looked up there there was the zubat and then all little figures behind it and then the shadows started to look like zubat.

The flock of zubat started flying after us with that screeching going in my left ear and out my right it was that annoying and then we told te ralts to teleport us out to the man.

When we reached the outside we gave the man the ralts back and ran to the house, so when we got in we told mum and courtney about the capture and the zubat, and then I wondered that if the zubat was still there how come something was caught so I said that I was of to bed and tomorrow I would find out what pokemon I had and if I would help me win a gym badge or not?

It was morning I was the first one up and made myself a bit of toast and feed the pigey and magikarp and went out to the beach to train for my pokemon battle, when I got to the beach it was like a ghost town nice and quite just the way I liked it so I started of by talking my squirtle out and telling it that it had a knew friend to play with and I let the pokeball go and out came a weird pokemon a that looked nothing like a zubat it was an

ABRA!

So anyway I went on with the fact that it was and abra, so I let my squirtle get to know it and then I went and got my dads old rod we used to catch our magikarp and I fished for an apponent.

We must have knocked out almost 10 magikarps, five tentacools and two wingulls.

But after that I brought my abra and squirtle to the pokemon centre and nurse joy said they were fine so with that I went back home to get my dad.

when I went in I foung mum sweeping the vases, dad drinking a nice cup of tea while watching the tv and my sister was sitting playing with her scrapbook that had thousands of pictures of a zigzagoons bathing in the summers sun.

So after my dinner I took my squirle and aby out, I choose that name aby after my great aunt Aby and any I told my dad that me and my pokemon were ready to battle the first gym leader but he remarked by telling me that I needed three pokemon to face the gymleader so I said to myself were can I find a pokemon that has good moves and then I heard a sceech coming from the room and then I heard PIGEY.

I turned around to pigey screeching as if it was saying pick me, pick me so I took the latch of the cage and let pigey rome free all around the house and when it settled down I told it if was going to help me it would have to go into a pokeball.It hesitated at the start but then eventually give a nod and I threw the pokeball at it and without any trouble the pokeball made a boom sound and pigey was mine.

After that my dad said wed better be going so me and my dad walked down the hall and put our coats on beacuse it lookd as if a millon water pokemon were using hydro pump on the city.So me and my dad sayed see you later and my mum said good luck and with that we ran out onto the damp sand and ran to our little boat.

As we got on the boat and untied it from the pole we got blasted the other way by the waves, but my dad sent out his blastoise and seadra to pull us the other way so I lent a hand by using squirtle.

When we reached the Island we tied the boat to a pole returned the pokemon and went to the gymleader instantly.We spotted a boy with a nice looking top and a pure blue pair of trousers, so we asked him for directions and he told us to through them trees and go through the woods and you will find Bustro city.

After getting the directions of the gym me and my dad sayed " thank you"and into the big hedges witch was the start of the forest. When we were in the forest we seen hundreds of pokemon that I would've liked to capture but I did'nt want to tire my pokemon out before the match so we strolled along the forest and then we heard voices.

We peeped our heads around a nearby hedge and standing there was a women in her 20s wearing a pair of black trousers and a black top with a ninetails by her said and a man in his 20s was wearing the same but had a machop by his side and when I looked at the corner of my eye I spotted that there was a hostage with them that looked like a very wealthy man by the clothes he was wearing.

The shiny red suit with a crimson pair of shoes gave it away that he was rich and what gave more away was the gold pokeballs around his belt.Me and my dad wondered what could we do and then without thinking my dad jumped out from behind the hedge and released Aby, Aby was his abra that he would've used to teleport him from place to place in search of ancient stones but since she got old my dads weight was to much for her to handle and she was used for fighting pokemon.

The two theifs turned around immediatly and told there pokemon to brace themselves, the girl started by telling ninetails to take down Aby but Aby just jumped over it and the ninetails bumped into a big oak tree witch sent of a coloney of pineco of and boom the pineco selfdestruct and the ninetails was knocked out on the swampy floor.

As the girl ran over to aid her weary ninetails the grip of the man weakened and by that the old man hit the other theif with his walking stick and ran to my father.After the girl returned her pokemon she caught one of the knocked out pineco in an unfair capture and ran over depending on her partner to stop my dad.

He started by ordering his pokemon to use mega punch but my tired dads abra was'nt going to put up mutch of a fight so the old man told my dad "i will handle this" and the old man lifted out a golden pokeball from his belt and threw it into the air and when it landed the red light beamed out and there was a figure forming that looked like a duck and then I relisied that it was a psyduck.

I knew a psyduck very well because a psyduck used to be our pet until one day there was a terrible storm and we were on a boat and the boat started sinking and when we were sailing away on the life boat my psyduck got drifted to another direction and I would always remember it for it had a huge scar down it face,and it was the reason I hated water pokemon for the water took my psyduck away from me.

When I snapped out of the thought I noticed that the machop had just been blasted to a tree with a hydro pump and was knocked out.The two theifs stood in shock and then the man blasted them away with a hydro pump, when they were gone I came from behind the hedge and my dad threw a pokeball at one of the still fainted pineco and caught it.

While we walked out of the exit of the forest we asked the man why they were after him and he said for his pokemon but me and my dad thought to ourselves why did they not take our pokemon our the fainted pinco and the old man told us that he was a daycare man and he took peoples pokemon and trained them and even made some breed so me and my dad knew why now and the man took us to the gym for the gymleader was his grand daughter.

After we strolled the calm streets of bustro city we finally came to the gym.the door were really tough metal and two golems opened the doors and we walked in, the arena was full of sand and boulders and a lot of rock type pokemon and then the doors on the other side of the room opened and ot came the gym leader roxanne came out with a geodude follow behind her.

Her granda told her that I was a challanger and I wished to battle but she sayed that her pokemon wee sick and unable to battle but then all of a sudden a little girl came out from behind a rock and said grandpa by rule 4653 any gymleader that is not able to fight a challanger for any matter can pass the challange on to a following member of her family and her granpa agreed to the match and we got ready.

The little girl was the judge and she said that we would only use two pokemon each so I started with pigey and commanded it to use peck and the little old man sent out a geodude witch just stood there as my pigey went flying into it and done more damade to itself than geodude so I told it to hit again but harder but the same result came back, it was'nt affecting it.

Then I remembered a move that it knew that almost stopped my dad from capturing it, so I told it to use whirlwind and the geodude was sent out of the match an into its pokeball so the old man choose his oddish.I knew this would be an easier so I told my pigey to peck it but it got a critical hit but as my pigey hit it it got poisoned and they were both dizzy but my pigey went back in with another peck and knocked it out and before I could return it it fainted to ending the first round as one each.

The old man brought out the geodude and I brought out my squirtle and we started by both tackling each other,the match went on for ages and then I said "lets finish them off" and I ordered a hydro pump on the geodude but the old man used a sandtomb witch brought rock and boulders flying every where and when we looked up the geodude was knocked out and my squirtle had shelterd itself inside its shell through the sand.

The little girl annouced me the winner and my daddy ran on to see me being awarded the badge and then the old man went over to me and gave me the boulder badge and I shouted over the whole gym in joy.After the match my dad gave me my backpack and told me to be safe and keep contact and with that I said I was going to mauville city to win my next badge and the old man said that he lived there with his wife so my dad took us on the boat to slateport city and we walked up the sandy beach as we waved to my dad driving away in the boat.
