#376 Metagross

I myself love Metagross. The first time I ever had an actual Metagross was a few months ago, and I have to admit, its VERY strong. My Metagross will never faint...

It weird how in the anime (I think) Metagross looks less shiny and more green-ish, but in the games (both R/S/E/FR/LG and D/P) hes more blue.

I haven't used it at all, surprisingly. I think part of the reason is that you get Beldum at such a low level and so late in the game. By then, I'm too lazy to train it.

I like it though. It does look cool. ^^ I just haven't used it, that's all. Maybe I will sometime.

It's decent. I haven't battled with it in the 'new' system, so no comments there. In R/S/E, though, it's good. Not good as in Sceptile good, but good.

I don't use it all that often, though.

Metagross is one of my favirate pokemon. It's always in my team. Anyone who dosen't like Metagross should be dipped in lava and fead to a wild pack of dogs. (Joke)

I have a slight dislike of Metagross. He looks cool, is strong, has an awesome move pool, but he's overused. When Ruby and Sapphire version came out, my sister, my cousin and my two friends used him on their teams. It gets kinda annoying having to keep battling it.

I wonder though, with the new battle system, if Metagross will do as good as he did in R/S/E.

I bred one witha Ditto and got one with better speed than the one I used to breed. XD

I personally like it, since it's rarely used in the games and also rarely seen in the anime. It also owned in the manga.

For the reasons Sammi gave: you get Beldum at level 5 and you don't get a Metagross until level 45 (Metang at 20). That's why I haven't been too fond of any Metagross I've owned (although I should use Meteor Mash more).

Metagross was one of the most feared pokémon in R/S/E competitive environment, and is it again in D/P. STAB Meteor Mash is nothing to laugh at.

@First post: Your Metagross can and will faint if you ever try the Battle Tower Challenge. Just get up to the 70's and 80's, and that thing'll be wiped out in no time.

Metagross is one of my favourite Pokemon. Enough so that I even went through all the trouble to get a shiny one. =O

It's great in battles, but I don't use it all the time.

awesome pokémon in many aspects. looks great, even greater shiny, big movepool, great stats, feared in competitive and even more in 4th gen because of thunderpunch, zen headbutt en a resist to stealth rock, and an awesome signaturemove

i tend to ignore that clefairy (bleh) can learn meteor mash too.

In R/S/E, Metagross is a standard staple in my team. My owning team in the Battle Tower: Salamence, Swampert and Metagross. A little unorthodox yes, but nevertheless cool.

well, I think its a great pokemon, both competive and look!
it has 4 brains, like a supercomputer, it has some awesome movesets, AND it looks great, has a great cry, and a great type combo -> ability

Metagross, in my opinion, is JUST plain awesome! ... It has also been of some use in my Pokemon battles... It's Shiny form makes it the best Pokemon out there appearance-wise and it has four brains and it can make extermly difficult calculations faster than a super computer! :D

Metagross is pretty cool but I haven't used one since the Battle Frontier.
