#423 Gastrodon

[Cookie Monster]

I'm sort of trying to raise one atm, but I'm not too sure what moves to teach it. What movesets would you recommend for it?

Which one do you prefer?

I like the following set:

Gastrodon @ Leftovers
Sassy nature
- Curse
- Recover
- Earthquake
- Surf / Ice Beam
^^ A bit like good old Cursepert.

I prefer the blue one, mainly because blue is my favorite colour.

I prefer the pink Gastrodon, because it's the first shiny that i saw in D/P.

Recover
Surf

A load of EVs in the Defenses and HP, and a few in SpA.

Basically, this set requires prediction, but Gastrodon can easily stand a hit, then do the appropriate Counter. Then Recover afterwards.


And I prefer Pink one

I prefer the pink one, the blue one's too brownish.

Gastrodon itself isn't altogether a bad Pokemon, actually it's probably somewhat better than average. But I HATE the thing since it's spammed all over Sinnoh. Walk through the grass, it's Gastrodon. Chain for Dittos, it's broken by a Gastrodon. The things are probably floating out in the sea too, but IDK since I always use repels there.
