Internet Connection???

What kind of internet connection do you have? I mean do you have dial-up or cable or DSL or something? I have dial-up^^ but I mostly log in from school so the connection speed is faster^^.

Lucky you, it's too expensive for me though^^. One thing that I don't understand that why do they call it wireless when they do have tons of wires hooked to the modem to hook up with the Server.

And a very small network (LAN) at home.

I have ISDN only the money for DSL is here but because of a "new" technology in german named : Glasfaserkabel I can not get DSL -.-

I have DSL right now, but I'll get xDSL from another provider tomorrow, because it's cheaper but it's faster^^

ahhhhhhh, now everybody has highspeed internet but me. Highspeed internet is too expensive for me to affort :( .

I have cable internet from the cable company. ^^;
I've never had to deal with dial-up on a regular basis. I tried loading a forum on dial-up once, and it was really slow x_X I feel sorry for you guys ^^;

Or get dial-up high speed version by netscape or netzero. Netzero will allow you to download this program the upgrade your speed, or you can pay more to get a faster dial-up. But its all a scam IMO.

Internets are good, but some dial-ups are a rip-off!! The internet I have right now always crashes, and I have to keep dialing up and waste money for the bill. But soon I might get broadband. Anyway, is broadband a good thing or a bad thing?

I use DSL! It is very fast,thank god, I hate slow computers!

We've got 2 T1's or 3 Megabits a second. It rocks!!!

I use Xtra Broadband at the moment. Dial-up was sheer torture.

We got (actually quite a while ago) an extra T1 with all the speed included. So we're running at 4Mbits/second download, and somewhere around 800Mbits/second for upload...it rocks!

Cable, because my dad is a big computer geek, and he knows what kind of stuff to use. ^.^ I think I aquired a few traits from him myself.

If I had to use dial-up everyday, I'd kill myself. The sound quality is really bad on dial-up on our computer.
