#006 Charizard

I always see people making a big deal out of Charizard. There's usually a big debate between people saying if it's a good Pokémon or not. Whether it's a good or bad reason. What do you think about Charizard?

I actually don't like Charizard that much, except that maybe it looks cool. I think it's pretty useful ingame because of all the moves it learns. Otherwise, I don't like it that much.

In the Animé as you can see, it's suppose to be really strong but a lot of people that play the game say it isn't.

What do you think?

Charizard has, is, and always will be one of my favorite Pokemon. I like it more for a visual appeal; the colors and the fact that it's based off a dragon are what suckered me in. That, and the fact that it's a Fire and Flying type, which are two of my favorite types.

It might not be that strong competitively, due to its typing. I don't care though. I use Charizard in-game, because that's all that I play. It's strong then, and that's what matters.

The anime makes a lot of Pokemon look strong that really aren't when used in-game. It's like a curse. :x

Charizard is a very popular pokemon. It's defenetly the most popular Kanto starter. Sceptile is my favarite starter then Charizard I'd say.

Charizard has always been a popular pokémon. It's a shame it takes 50% from Stealth Rock on the switch-in.

Ick, I dislike Charizard D: It's ugly, in my opinion, and it dies to common attacks, especially with Stealth Rock in DP, which will most likely be a popular move. I don't get why some people like it so much ;X

Because it looks awesome? Or maybe they like the type combination at first. Who knows.

I don't mind it in the games, but I usually don't use it. I prefer to use Blastoise as a starter.

In the anime, it kicks serious butt. I remember the days when Ash's Charizard used Seismic Toss. It was so great to watch. Too bad it's not in Ash's team anymore. D:

most of the reason people love charizard was because:
1) it looks cool
2) it can learn great moves
3) it was the rarest card in the original pokemon card game

Eh, not really the rarest card, just the most popular and sought after. I had more Charizards than Raichu's, couldn't ever find one of the lil' buggers.

The only reason I do like it is because I always have Charmander as my starter in the old games and in Fr/Lg. Otherwise, it's one of those forgettable Pokemon in battle.

I used a big of evs on it

One bad part of charizard is its defense is the shits

Charizard is my second favorite Pokemon of all time. Likewise, he is an extremely cool Pokemon in every way and one of the original 151, but Mewtwo just has that legendary something that sets him a stage above Charizard in my list of personal favorites.

Nevertheless, despite how much I talk about how Mewtwo, Charizard, and my other favorites, know that I believe every single Pokemon is amazing in their own unique way.

In my opinion: it's cool, strong and stuborn, and these are very nice adjectives, and I asoloutly disagree with who says that he isnt strong in the game as I used it as a starter and I have found a difference after using Blastoise, in short Charizard is the strongest starter in the 1st generaton games
