I've always really liked Sceptile, so I'll say Sceptile. The other Hoenn starters I'm also fond of, but not like my precious Sceptile.

EDIT: It did. I'm as fond of Empoleon as I am of Sceptile. I also enjoy having Dialga on my team.

This'll probably change more if I catch one of the legendary trio.

As far as I know, unless my mind is playing tricks on me, for the last probably six or so years Sneasel has been my absolute favorite. To go more in Depth and to sepereate it by Generation here is how It would go.

Hoenn: Either Breloom or Roselia
Sinnoh: Surprisingly not Weavile, at this point my favorite Sinnoh Pokemon is probably Floatzel

Mudkip has been my favorite since the start of the 3rd gen. It's just so adorable and cute that I couldn't stand not loving it.

By using it more, it became my absolute fave. ^_^
