I thought 250GB was big when I got mine... then again, I hardly have anything on the computer in the first place, so I don't use a lot of space. :/ I survived very well for years with the 40GB harddrive in this computer.

Movie tickets on the base are dirt cheap compared to off-base and in the US. Something like $4 a ticket for adults? I can't remember. But it's cheap. :/ However, there's only one theater, and if everyone and their mother on the base (and surrounding areas!) wants to see it... we're going to have to get there early to get a ticket. I bet we'll face lines.

I'd mostly get mad because, if it was my main DS (original version), I'd also lose my main copy of Pearl. I'd lose over 400 hours worth of play time, and alot of Pokemon...

If it was my DS Lite, I wouldn't really care since A. It has a broken hinge (partially my fault, since I bought a cheap carrying case, and the strap kept breaking >_> I think that caused a small crack in the hinge, which got bigger as time progressed until it just snapped), and B. I don't use it anymore.

If it was my spare original DS, then I'd be a little angry. Mostly because it has Emerald in it, and the GBA games are fairly hard to find where I live. Plus, I pretty much need it for trading between my DS Pokemon games (and, in the future, I'll be using it to trade my Pokemon from Pearl to Platinum once I beat the E4). Lol, I'm going to need to capture ALOT of Bidoofs in Platinum 8D;;

I played some of Twilight Princess. It was dull as hell, imo, compared to the other Zelda titles I've played. And I've never touched the N64 titles, which everyone seems to love. :/

Make quick jumps and always stay focus. Don't try and get every single Star Bit or Coin. Use a Long Jump whenever you think you can land it. (especially on the pink platforms near the end)

Actually, why does it have trouble reading discs because the disc might not be compaitable with your system, an NTSC Wii won't read a Pal Disc, or vice versa, you need to have a disc that is compaitable with the Wii.

It might not be that...My old PS2 started having trouble reading discs after a few years. Apparently the laser wasn't aligned properly, plus it was dirty. And yes, I was using compatible discs...

some attacks have a different damage ratio. If I say it correctly links bomerang doesn't damage, but it only moves you. Toon links bomerang does damage you. Link can hurt enemies from a bigger distant, while Toon link is more like a fast less powerfull character.

Anyway...I'm playing PMD2 again 8D I forgot how addictive it is, and how annoying Sandstorm and Hail are... (you get stopped every few steps and lose 3 HP. Not alot of damage, but it's annoying 'cause it slows you down and hinders HP recovery).

Speaking of PMD2...Anyone who has it, download the Mewtwo/Celebi mission for Time/Darkness. I'm pretty sure you go to Wonder Mail ---> Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection to download it. I'll be able to check later, after I graduate (I restarted, lol)... (you need Mystifying Forest for Celebi, and Dark Crater for Mewtwo. I have Time, so...).


The missions are only available until September 1st.

He downloaded the mission from Wi-Fi. Just go (from the Main Menu) to Wonder Mail, then when it asks you which method you want to use, choose Wi-Fi Connection (I think). I can't test it right now, since I restarted and I'm currently preparing to go through the Hidden Land and Temporal Tower, and beat Primal Dialga. Then I'll have to graduate.

I spend 10+ hours on Oblivion searching dungeons for a particular weapon. I saw someone wielding that weapon earlier. I kill them. They drop the weapon and it falls through the floor. I didn't think of reloading my previous save until I had already overwritten it.

Yes, but apparently people think the Raiders suck more. So this is a fresh of breath air for them to win, (even though this is preseason) Besides, the 49ers are historically the better team. so, it gives me more fuel to tell my 49er fan brother "Oh, how the mighty have fallen"

...Knowing me, I'll end up stupidly trying again. I got a bunch of crappy Pokemon in the Semifinals once, and ended up resetting the console out of frustration (at least I didn't give it flying lessons =\), and swearing I wouldn't bother progressing with the game.

Another funny tidbit about the DS, apparently they were not supposed to sell it until Sunday(today here), The reason why I got it was because my friend works at a Gamestop, and had called me to let me know that they had gotten them in, and he didn't see anywhere where it said they were not supposed to sell it. so, he sold it to me.

As I took my new computer for s routine "software upgrade"

I bought it back home, I lift it on top my bed and went to the bathroom. I then hear a loud thud. I come out of the bathroom and go into my room and lo and behold, I see my computer box (with case and computer inside) on the floor.

I hook it up and some problems occur, my computer locks up, a lot.

My dog had dropped my computer onto the floor. and first we had thought it was my hard drive. so I went out and bought a WHOLE NEW 1TB HARD DRIVE. replaced it, nd hooked it back up, we try to install XP on it again, and IT STILL LOCKS UP!!

only one thing remains. the motherboard.

my dog is now dead to me

I can't speak for most, but I prefer having a real program over a site, though. Not that Meebo's bad -- I had to use it for awhile because my computer was too crappy to run XP SP2, which I needed for WLM.

If you'd rather use a site, Meboo does work well. Like I said, I used it, and I had no complaints. If you want another IM program to try, Trillian will log you onto several IM programs at once, allowing you to be on Yahoo Messenger again. I haven't used it much, but what I've seen, I've liked.
