Do you use cheats in your games?
If yes, which devices do you use or in which way do you cheat?
Why do you cheat/ don't cheat?
What do you consider cheating?
What do you think about cheaters?
I tried out some cheats with a ROM and Gameshark, just to see what it is like. I used a cheat for making every wild Pokémon shiny and got bored of it very quickly.
I never tried any more cheats after that, because what is the purpose of the game? Playing? Of course.
Why would I need to cheat to get everything, this would simply kill all the fun playing the game.
Well, also I'm not sure whether to count glitches which are actually in the games as cheating. For example the cloning glitch in Emerald.
Everyone can do it and it's not the players fault that the programmers made a mistake.
On the other hand, it can also kill the challenge of the game.
If you, for example, clone your masterball, you might not waste any balls on Pokémon which are hard to catch, but you also don't have a real challenge then after all.
It's not really cheating for me unlike the use of devices like Action Replay, which help you to get everything after all.
I don't really have a problem with cheaters, I just hope I won't run into one of them while trading or battling in Diamond.
What I wonder though is, whether they don't get bored of being able to get everything without really playing.

In any game I play I won't cheat for the first time round completing it. When I am satisfied I have done everything possible that is when I will have some fun with cheats.

I don't cheat, usually. It's not like I play the games often anyway.
The only time I've cheated is when I was just having fun exploiting the glitches in RBY. It was fun. ;e

I don't cheat, because it always follows up with a feeling of guilt.
I don't consider using glitches as cheating.

Do you use cheats in your games? If you count the RBY glitch or the duplication glitch in GSC, then yes, ages ago. If not, then no.
If yes, which devices do you use or in which way do you cheat? I just use glitches. Too lazy and cheap for the cheat devices.
Why do you cheat/ don't cheat? For the glitches, I use it duplicate items. I haven't done it in ages though, and I doubt I'd use it in RSE and DP. I've gotten over the duplication thing.
What do you consider cheating? Using cheat devices, really.
What do you think about cheaters? It's their game, not mine. Let them cheat if that's how they like it.

Do you use cheats in your games? No. Unless there's something I want to try out. [Which doesn't happen very often]
If yes, which devices do you use or in which way do you cheat? If I end up using cheats, it'll probably be from Action Replay.
Why do you cheat/ don't cheat? I don't cheat because there's no need to. But if I end up cheating, then I'll probably duplicate certain items that are normally hard to get.
What do you consider cheating? Using ROMS, Action Replay, Gameshark, etc.
What do you think about cheaters? They can cheat all they want. I don't have a problem with it.

Yes, I do use gameshark, I was too lazy during the battle frontier in Emerald. Also I diddn't have alot of time to be spilling into it just so that they can be strong enough.
I also used it to obtain some event only pokemon (Mew, Deoxys, Lugia)
I was able to get the legendary Dogs, Jirachi, and Hou-Hou through Pokemon Colliseium (I don't have XD, so I had to get Lugia from gameshark)
I'm not going to be playing my Emerald against some other people nor am I going to any events, so, what the hell?

I cheated and buggered my game up for about a year.
Which was also the same day I found out god hates me.
I only use cheats about 1 year after I get the game.

For a long time I've had and made use of an Action Replay for my Pokémon games, going as far back as the 1st generation. However, at the turn of this generation I'm determined to go straight, partly because it's going online and it's unfair for those who don't cheat, but mostly it's because I'm sure I'll enjoy my games much more if than if I did.

Do you use cheats in your games?
Sometimes, if I'm bored with the game; I've used some fun AR codes when I remembered where I put it :P
If yes, which devices do you use or in which way do you cheat?
I used AR before, and I exploited the bad RBY glitches like fighting Pokemon over 100 ;P
Why do you cheat/ don't cheat?
I cheat only to have fun with the game, and I never do things like give my Pokemon 999 stats then go battle someone.
What do you consider cheating?
Something that either uses an external device, or wouldn't be able to be obtained legitimately ever. For example, I think cloning and the Sheimi/Darkrai glitch are fine, since the Pokemon/item being cloned is legit, and Sheimi/Darkrai will be available eventually. However, stuff like that one glitch that lets Mew or Ditto have any move is not okay, since those two can only have certain moves. If you used it to get a special move on Mew that it can get legitimately, such as Trick, but you have no access to getting it (Mew can only get Trick through XD as of right now), then it's okay. But giving it Absorb or something (lawl, why would you want to?) is not okay.
What do you think about cheaters?
Depends on why they cheat. If they cheat just for their own amusement or some other purpose that doesn't hurt anyone, then they're just like anyone else who plays the game. However, if they hack Pokemon and trade or battle with them, then they're bad people.
Wow... that was rant-ish X:

Do you use cheats in your games? Yes, but only for fun.
If yes, which devices do you use or in which way do you cheat? I've used Gameshark and I love to hack my Silver version doing all sorts of stuff like walking through walls, but not anymore since the internal battery ran out.
Why do you cheat/ don't cheat? I cheat only for fun.
What do you consider cheating? Using any cheat device of any sort. :/
What do you think about cheaters? I hate cheaters who give their Pokemon 999 stats and battle with them. I'm fine with hacked Pokemon, but just as long as their not traded to other people.

Do you use cheats in your games? Yep, I've been cheating in all of my games since the Atari and Nintendo and Sega Genesis. And I don't really care if any other people know about it since just because I'm a cheater doesn't give you the right to think I'm a loser/jerk/noob/whatever. I'm a very nice person so whenever I tell someone I do cheat, they're like wtf serious? Not all cheaters are bad. ;;
If yes, which devices do you use or in which way do you cheat? AR and I just look online for codes and put 'em in it. XD
Why do you cheat/ don't cheat? I cheat because I've played the game fair and went to events and did everything the same way like everyone else and cheating adds some spice to the game. I'm also a VERY lazy person and I hack my pokemon to help speed breeding (like a certain natured species or egg moves on males) or just for fun most of the time (surfing Venusaur in 3D battles never gets old). I also give away hacked pokemon to my friend if they want them since they can't get the shiny or whatever. Any other pokemon I do hack I keep to myself.
What do you consider cheating? Well, deep down I think that just abusing the game in any way to give an advantage to yourself and using it in a way Nintendo never really intended is cheating. So EV training, E4 Glitch, Cloning, using cheat devices, etc is all cheating in a way. Some are more serious than others but I accept all those ways as long as I know what someone is trading me... A legit clone, hacked, or clean (legit and uncloned basically) pokemon. I like to trade fairly. Clones for clones, hacked for hacked, and clean for clean.
What do you think about cheaters? I'd like it if people stop stereotyping about hackers and think they're all dishonest people who rip others off for a living... I know it's hard to trust a hacker but even if you're trading with a nonhacker, you can still get ripped off and trust me on that one xS. So you should take the time to look for honest people instead of just separating the two. ;D

Do you use cheats in your games?
No
If yes, which devices do you use or in which way do you cheat?
...
Why don't you do cheat?
Becous games are to easy if you cheat.
You cant cheat life or death, you can in a Game. That doesn't make It real, it killes the game.
What do you consider cheating?
Cloning, changing stats, illegal moves, cating illegal pokes, catching only shiny pokes.
Just anything the game was not made to do and what you have to do to get something you can't (legaly) have.
What do you think about cheaters?
A well they deserve a life. You should't juge someone you don't know. You make your own choses in life, let other people make there own.
I don't mind having some illegal pokes, yes I have a deoxys that I'm shure it's fixed. Maby I'll trade it for something nice some time.
I'm surtenly not gonna use it in battle or in any way someone would lose becouse of my cheated (GTS Traded) poke's.

Do you use cheats in your games? Never have, and I don't I will any time soon.
If yes, which devices do you use or in which way do you cheat?
Why do you cheat/ don't cheat? I don't cheat because I feel it takes the fun out of the game.
What do you consider cheating? Using a cheating device that is not in-game, like Gameshark or Action Replay.
What do you think about cheaters? I don't agree really agree with cheater's actions, but it depends on why they're cheating. If they cheat for fun and don't trade or battle with cheated pokemon, that's fine. If they give they're pokemon unbeatable stats and only give people non legit (I count clones as legit) pokemon, then I have a bit of a problem.

Do you use cheats in your games?
Of course not.
If yes, which devices do you use or in which way do you cheat?
---
Why do you cheat/ don't cheat?
I don't cheat because it ruins how the game is suppose to be played...besides, to be using a cheating device to show to others how much "better you are", you must be a loser with no life. Cheating devices, in my opinion, should be used just for fun after the game is properly played and must not be used for competative reasons.
What do you consider cheating?
Using a GS/AR...similar exploitation items...glitches aren't counted since, well, the gaming companies messed up and it's their fault.
What do you think about cheaters?
Cheaters literally have no life.

Do you use cheats in your games?
I did all the time in RBY and GSC using a Gameshark. Of course, I was in third grade and I just wanted to show everyone how cool I was with a level 100 shiny Mew that had Sacred Fire. Nowadays, I usually don't cheat, unless it is to get some random Pokemon for my Pokedex (since I'm too lazy to walk to Mc. Donald's and find someone to trade with me). However, whenever I do this, I almost always release the Pokemon right after.
If yes, which devices do you use or in which way do you cheat?
GBC Gameshark, my friend's GBA Action Replay.
Why do you cheat/ don't cheat?
I cheat since it'd be impossible to get certain Pokemon otherwise, unless I make daily trips to Mc. Donald's. That is my only reason.
What do you consider cheating?
Using a cheating device like Action Replay or Gameshark.
What do you think about cheaters?
They are fine, as long as they don't trade/battle with anything they have hacked onto their game.
Cheaters literally have no life.
o_o That's a bit of an overgeneralization as I could easily say, "People who like Pokemon literally have no life."

I used to be very scared of cheats, but then my brother showed me the wonder of Gameshark on my Emerald rom. I was having so much fun catching every Shiny legendary, but then my game got erased after defeating the Elite 4. -_- Luckily, I had a saved file before that one.
One tip I can give to Gameshark newbies: make sure you defeat the E4 first.
