Which Pokémon game did you play first?

I bought Blue and Yellow at the same time but played Yellow first. I wanted the Pikachu behind me, and it had the better sprites.

I think I played Blue version first. My friend brought it over, and it looked interesting. So then, I decided to buy red version because I got addicted. :p

Those days were awesome, when almost everyone played those games back then.

I played red from a friend of me, and then I decided to buy Red. So my answer is Red.

Pokemon Red...should have got Blue since I don't like the colour Red. At the time I didn't even know they were the same.

I first played my friends Red Version.

I borrowed it from him and I played it for 9 hours straght, and I got to Koga without saving it.

I tried to buy both Red and Blue, but the store at the time only had Blue, so I bought Blue.

Good times, It was most enjoyable back then.

My first game was Pokemon Yellow, I've got it for my 5th Birthday. However I didn't speak English when I was 5 (I'm Dutch), I could understand Pokemon. Thanks to Pokemon, I could speak English fluent on my 7th Birthday.

My first Pokemon game was Gold Version. I was shocked at how exciting the game was, talking to characters and such. I remember getting mad at Pokemon that appeared in the grass next to Newbark Town while I was trying to travel to Cherrygrove City. :p
