I personally have not seen a character I could not stand, but Casey (the Johto girl who likes yellow) came really close.

Plus Max, he kinda had a snotty attitude, and his "knowledge" of pokeon and battles made it seemed like he was going to replace Brock, and I would have NOT accepted that

I used to dislike Gary and Misty.... but they all get a bit more mature after a while.
So right now, I can't think of anything I can't stand.
