The title may confuse you but what I'm talking about. Who here would like to see a new adventure. Its gets old watching the same old Ash, May, Max, and Brock. A new adventure. New people. I loved the original episodes and I can't seem to find them on video sites. I seen the episode where the kid set off with his Bulbasaur and it reminded me of the old days. Anyone agree?

True. But how annoying is it to see one person's life when there are so many others that are so diffrent and possibly more intresting.

Good point but Ash is grown on us all

That us true ~Aipom~. But wouldn't you like to see how others live their lives, how their journeys turn out. I would like to see a new start in Kanto, it was always my favorite!

If there is no Ash, I am not gonna watch anymore. It's already bad that Misty left and Brock left for a while, but at least I can get used to new people as long as they are with Ash.
Ash = Pokémon.

Yes the show without Ash has lost its meaning but a little side-tracking here and there wouldn't hurt I suppose just like the Pokemon Chronicles.

3 words to start it all, and it's my personal opinion, so don't get offended
ASH, MUST, GO
If only the anime were like the Pocket Monsters Manga. Every region had a new set of main characters. from the games, and all the sotrylines were fresh and new ideas, it never always focused on one character beating all gyms, only the first series did, then the Gym battles kinda became, a second part to the story.
the Elite 4 were evil, One of the Gym leaders in jhoto was a traitor to the Pokemon League and was the leader of Neo Team Rocket/Mask of Ice to obtain the power of Celebi, Groudon and Kyogre's battle between each other left half of Hoenn in ruins, and it took all the power of the Gym Leaders/Elitle 4, the "Double Champions", the Legendary Golems(Regice, Registeel, RegiRock), and Rayquaza to halt it. the D/P manga is off to a slow start, but I assure it will pick up later.
I wish that was the anime

ASH, MUST, GO Should have really gone when offered the chance to become a Frontier Brain. It would be nice to lets say focus on Brendan for a change

I'd prefer it if Ash would stay. For those of you that want more characters, just watch Pokemon Chronicles.

I'd love to if they actually made new ones, and more of the GSC(Legand of Thunder Arc) one and not so much of people from Ash's past. I still pray to this day that they make a chronicle ep of Brendan, Wally and Wallace (But mostly Brendan)

I agree with Healing-D-Vision, we only got to see Brendan in one small battle in a movie, so Pokemon should bring him back soon.

In my opinion, they should keep Ash, and drop everyone else. It's a waste to have spent so much time with Ash just to drop him, but everyone else isn't as important.

To be honest, I don't care either way.
On one hand, I *know* I'd miss Ash if he left, and tons of other people will too. The stories are repetitive, yes, but I don't mind.
On the other hand, it's nice to see some new characters, and starting over wouldn't really break my heart. I'd be interested. ^^;

Why don't they make it like there's 4 characters (but Ash isn't the main 1)
with Brendan, Wallace, Wally and Ash

Because, oh I don't know, four guys would be kind of bad for a show where females might want a hero figure? Maybe, perhaps? Sure, they are the bishonen of Pokemon, but there still needs to be equality on the show.
Ash is the main icon of the Pokemon anime. He's been there from the start and it's his journey that we have been watching. Once it gets to the point that he can defeat "legendary" Pokemon, then the show loses some of its charm that it had in the beginning. Sure, Haruka and Hikari are the new trainers, but most of the focus gets put on Ash.
Chronicles is a good start, but we need more characters being shown other than Hiroshi half the time. There are plenty of other characters to focus on, Like Shigeru.
One thing that must go that can save the show: Brock. He needs to go.

There always has been something about Borck that I liked, and I was SOOO glad that he stayed and May went. The reaction from May-fanboys were priceless.

*cough*Regice&Articuno*cough*
Oh wait, Ash had a type advantige, meh, he still defeated them.
I wonder if the anime writers are going to give Kouki(D/P boy hero) the same "respect" as they gave Brendan (Two cameos)
