Evolution in Mystery Dungeon Red Rescue Team

Is there a reason why Charmander (in my game) has still not evolved, and its at level 19? Am I supposed to do something?

You have to beat the main storyline. Beat Rayquaza, watch the credits roll, and after that, you'll be back at the base, and your partner will pretty much walk you to the spot.

The meteor hits Wiscash Pond, and that's where you can evolve.

You must be alone though, without any member in your team.

What Black Dragon, except you have to go to Luminus Cave,in Wishcash pond.
