Umi, it is supposed that Celebi appears on Route (I forgot it's number) and has a 1/36546 or something chance of appearing.

I don't think it is real, since this "glitch" is a total chance one, then people can allways say a well it didn't work because of those, for the mew glitch it was different. Anyway I don't think it happend, I mean that there is a glitch like that in the game, I bet some other people would have found celebi already, and since I have found like 2 shiny pokemon in that area and other people also didn't found celebi there I don't beleive in it.

Yes, they can put it down to bad luck if you don't find it... Probably started by someone who wanted to be famous... I'd say they got it from an event...
