A while ago, 4Kids entertainment lost rights to the Pokémon Anime to TAJ Studios. They hired cheap imitation replacements for the voice actors. They sound nothing like the good old ones (Veronica Taylor,Eric Stuart, Maddie Blaustein, Racheal Lillis,Amy B. etc..). If you ever enjoyed the show at all, then please, come to the thread here at PI, and either sign the online petition, or write a letter to Pokémon USA and tell them to get the original voice actors back!

Ok the petition is a start. It's better to start off slow and steady then fast and mess up.

That's ok about the letters, but maybe some of your friends could help out.

I think that PUSA is actually taking all of us seriously and has let the original VA's know that they're considering re-hiring them.

I'm not giving up.

Edit: I just sent an email to PUSA, I know it's not much, but it's a start.

I will try to send some snail mail to them as well, but no guarantees still on that.

But this opportunity should really change things around a bit in a good way. :)

I'm still not telling what exactly it is, but I do still need to know if the VA's are willing to do the series again, both back at 4kids, or at TAJ.

edit. I asked someone in a pm about your questions and this is what she said

1) No, I don't think Nintendo owns PUSA. Pokemon USA is actually a subsidiary company to its Japanese counterpart, The Pokemon Company.





2)Well, I believe Maddie said one time (in the VA Discussion thread) that if the other VAs said they were willing to work for TAJ, then she would work for them as well. So, yes, the way I see it, the VAs are willing to work for TAJ.

The problem is, Pokemon USA has to contact and ask ALL of them, not just one VA. I think if they were to ask ony one person to come back, they *might* turn down their offer


edit someone else thinks differently Offhand, I believe Pokemon USA is owned by Nintendo... or at least, Nintendo's calling the shots.
