Cosplay (Short for Costume Play)

Basicly people dress up as their favourite anime or game charaters for fun, or in some rare cases, just because they are dead serious about being that character.

Have any of you been to a cosplay event?

Has any of you ever cosplayed?

Would you like to cosplay as a character? If so, who would you want to cosplay as?

I, myself, am not a big fan of cosplay, seeing as how I see it as ruining the characters. Then again, I have cosplayes as someone before.

I cosplayed as Tomoyuki Tachi from Initial D once, it wasen't that hard, I had the brown leather jacket, my hairstyle is like his, and I have the gotee like him. The only thing I diddn't have was the Civic Type-R.


I have seen many cosplay, many bad, a few were good, but not that many. How about you?

and if I were THAT serious about cosplaying as a character, i'd cosplay as Brendan :P

Cosplays seriously frighten me. I dont like to look or get near them. But I think it'll be fun to be one.

I love cosplay. Not so much the part of trying to be an anime character in real life, but I'm more fond of the beautiful clothes/dresses of characters. I haven't been to Cosplay events before, and I never cosplayed, however if I were to, I'd love to do Usada of Digi Charat. I love her hair, totally love her dress.
