How did you find out about Pokémon?
When did you start liking it?

first my friends talked about it all the time, but I couldn't watch it, because I had no satellite TV at that time :(
so I asked my father to tape it for me, and he did!
I soon started liking the show, then I got firered at easter.
I was a real fan then, but this happened very late, because I didn't have the chances to learn more about it before...

Well, lets go back to when I was in fifth grade, i didn't know a thing about pokemon until one day, my dad brought home a pikachu, charmander, and a squirtle dolls. That's when I started to love pokemon b/c i thought they were cute and weird. A year later, I came to USA and started to watch Pokemon on KidsWb channel. That's how I became a biggest Pokemon fan.

It was back when I was in 4th grade. I moved to this new town and everyone liked something called Pokémon cards so I checked them out and the mosters were pretty cool looking so I started liking them. I then watched the shows got the games and stuff. When it wasn't a fad anymore I stopped liking them but I came back to them this summer.

Humm, very intersting, so you stopped liking pokemon for a while and then got back to them? I don't know how you do it but I can't get the pokemon stuff out of my head, day or night. ^^

I stopped liking it I guess because it wasn't "cool" anymore. I was 11 or 12 at that time now I'm 15.

Well....ok....but to me, pokemon is always cool and fun. I can't imagine what would I do without those pokemon games and movies. I mean, I almost spend all my free time watching/playing them. ^^

anyway.... how I became to liking Pokemon:

It was one of those cold, stormy days in October... I was in Grade 1... We were at home (it was the weekend) and my brothers were both playing their own GameBoyColours. One was playing Pokemon Blue, and one was playing Pokemon Red... I didnt know about the games really until that day... I decided to try it out and I found out it was awesome... after my older brother explaining it for like 2 hours straight :P ... Then when Crystal came out, I thought it was awesome... I was now in Grade 3 or 4 (can't remember) and I asked for it for my b-day... I got it, and I was thrilled since one of the starting names was my name (Chris)... I then got even more involved in Pokemon when Ruby came out, and now FireRed has just made me more obsessed... I am now in Grade 8 and more obsessed with Pokemon than ever!

I started liking it when my neighbor gave me a fake Dratini card. Then I loved all the different characters and such. I loved making up my own. ^^

It was awhile ago, maybe I was eight or nine? My stepbrother got Red and an adapter to play it on the Super Nintendo (it was that long ago XD). So he played it on the TV, and I watched it.
And then go to when I was about nine or ten, I forgot which XD Anyway, I loved watching my brother play so much, I decieded to (with my birthday money) to go buy a Game Boy and a few Pokémon versions of my own. I got a yellow game boy, and Yellow version and Blue version. <3

As for the anime, I forgot when I started watching it regularly. *shrug* but I was about nine or ten.
And now I'm fifteen. That was a loooong time ago. oO; man, I must really like Pokémon to stay into it this long. XD

How I first got into Pokemon?

Well, when it first aired on TV, I thought it was odd, then got interested with it, with ths Pokemon and all. That's how it all started. But there were times when I lost interest in Pokemon, especially how they kept repeating the 1st season all the time, which "P"ed me off...

How did it start? Good question. I think I was 8 or 9 at the time. People were bringing the cards to school. I remember in summer my friend Emma was in the car and she was showing me some of her pokemon cards. The only one I remember is dragonair (base set). So I was looking at it, and I thought the pic was just beautiful. So then one day I got a magazine which was actually a walkthrough for R/B/Y. I didnt understand it because I had never played on a gameboy. I just enjoyed looking at the screenshots and pics of pokemon. I read it so mant times...
So I kept begging my parents to get me a GBC, and you know what? They did! One christmas when I was 10 or 11, I got a pokemon GBC and red. It was the best. Once they even took it away cos I played so long, but it was just so much fun. I didnt really know anything about the game, so I just sort of followed the walkthrough. I had some really low levels, but I still beat the elite 4, then completed the pokedex (kinda).
And now, 4 years later, I actually have a base set dragonair! And I know about EVs and watch the anime and everything.

How I started liking it is, I saw Pokemon listed in the TV guide XD. Wondered what it was and watched it and instantly liked it after the first epi

How it started for me was when I was changing channels. It was Saturday morning a little bit after 9, then I pass through to The WB. It was "The Song of Jiggypuff". ^^ I thought it was too cool. Everyone looked so great. I thought Ash, Misty, Brock, Jessie, and James were super cool. The way they look in that epsiode. Plus Pikachu, Meowth, and Jiggypuff were cute. ^^ The best. I miss that style of animation. Then after that...I was hooked.

Well I spent the night at my aunts house and woke up really early. I turned on the tv and there it was the premiere of pokemon i really liked it since it was something original. For my b-day I got a GBC and a copy of blue version I was hooked then.
