I haven't battled someone for long time, I never had any training...

how did you find them?
did you already meet someone who lived a bit far away?
how did you get in contact with him?
where do you usually meet fans IRL/in the net?

Very disappointing for you huh? Well, i'm a bit luckier, almost all of my friends love pokemon, friends at school, in the neighborhood. We all take about Pokemon. I don't know any Pokemon fan online except for some members here b/c I don't chat that much.

So....why don't you try to find friends that live near you that love Pokemon as much as you? Don't tell me you couldn't find any in that... entire... area that you live in. I bet if they love Poke, they'll also love you (be friend).

Well when Pokémon wasn't "cool" anymore people stopped liking it. I was one of them. I lost all interest in Pokémon for about three years and didn't even know that there was a new Generation (3rd) until this summer. I went to pojo and found a link to SPP on accident and I decided to check it out. I first went to the fanfiction section and there were fics that had Pokémon that I had never heard of. Those Pokémon were of the 3rd Generation. Some seemed pretty interesting so I regained the interest.

Yeah, I know. My bro is the only fan I know. Recently I found out two of my friends have soem of the games, but they don't seem to be fans at all. Its strange, when you think of all the thousands of people on forums like SPPf, you think theres gotta be someone, round here, right? Its kinda depressing when it doesnt happen.

All of the boys I know play it on their gameboys; my neighbors kids play the games, tcg, watch the anime, have the movies, and have other toys; the kids in my art class, asll watch anime, and like pokemon; The kids in my family are all pokemon nuts; my friends don't hate it and they sometimes watch it, my best friend even plays the game. So all in all, I know a lot of fans. Surprisingly, most of the people I meet are fand =P

I've got several poke-friends, and this week we had a major event - the "Pokemon Camping Trip" with 32 fans. It was *the* best week of my life.

All my friends used to be Pokemon fans. Apperently, they all "grew up" as they put it. It's not that they don't like it, they just choose to no longer acknowlege it's existance anymore.

So, in real life, I knew one, and this has got a story to it:

The one Pokemon fan in the Games'n Anime club at my college is a HUGE Anime and Advanceshipping fan.

and of course I am a huge ANTI Anime and Advanceshipping fan. and he hates me for that reason. and I told him straght up, thats the most childish reason I've ever heard, completly shunning me for such a little reason.

Then again, I guess the Pokemon anime is his life.

Out of all of my friends in real life, not a single one of them likes Pokemon anymore. They used to, but consider it "childish" to like it now. So they all make fun of me for still liking it. I know. I need better friends.
