What's your favourite free forum software?

Well there are many free forum softwares around right now.
Which one is your favourite?

I like phpBB, I can't really say why, but probably because of its simplicity.
It lacks of features, but it also hasn't got any useless ones.

MyBB is nice too.
It reminds me a lot of vBulletin.
Especially the admincP is very similar.

I haven't really tried other software other the IPB which was free back then and now isn't anymore so it odesn't cound (and it didn't really impress me).

I like INvisionfree, altouugh it sucks. Mainly 'cause my forum is on there. But soon I'll be updating to vB, so then it'd be PHP, or MyBB

I'd say this needs some revision: you're upgrading to vB, so then it will be PHP or MyBB? Isn't that like saying "I'm upgrading to a new version of Pac Man for my mobile phone so then it will be Java Virtual Machine or Space invaders?"

I would have to say that I'm not satisfied with any software. But I have to use something for the time being, so it's MyBB. PHPBB is one of the most miserable PHP applications built up to now, it just has and has had too many bugs and security vulnerabilities. I know it's impossible to completely avoid them, but I think that it should be re-written from scratch.

Out of the two I've tried, which are ProBoards and InvisionFree, I'd have to say the latter one. InvisionFree is more flexible than ProBoards, which is quite simple but still good nonetheless, considering I started my internet forum days on ProBoards.

I like invisionfree because it has a better support forum and it is more organized and it is better and it is bertter and it is better and oh! did i say it was better?

MyBB seems cool, but I can't be bothered to learn how to use it xD

I use Invision for my forum.

InvisionFree for me. I'd work on it some time when I had a forum on my own, and its features are quite easy to access.
