To everyone who has already imported D/P?
Where did you get your game and what was your experience?
Was it cheap or expensive?
Did you get the game quickly?

This thread is meant to be a help for everyone who plans to import one of the games.

Hmm, diddn't see this thread.

I preorderd Pearl from Play-asia.com about several weeks before it's release.

It diddn't ship untill about a week after it's release. Which kinda P*ssed me off at the moment, because I ahd preorderd it a while back so why did it take so long to import?

I got it for 54ish dollars (plus shipping) i'm pretty sure now when you order it it will ship within 24 hours, and you'll possibly get it in a week.

Okay, so then which Country do you live in? If it is one week from where you live, I need to find out about America shipping to Aus

It may be shorter for you cause the game ships from Japan and Aus is right under them :)

EDIT: Just checked play-asia.com, it seems as though they do not have any Pearl versions in stock, which apperently means when they get a copy, they'll ship it to you. However, if you're planning on getting Diamond, they do have it in stock and will ship in 24 hours. It may take less time to get where you want to go since Aus is closer than U.S

Oh, so they would ship English versions from Japan? I get it, they'd make them in Japan, and ship them to America. So it would be pointless to ship from America to Aus?

Yes, I know that. But I was trying to find out where it will be made, so then I can prove to my friend that it'd be better to wait for it here, in Aus
