This thread is for having a little conversation in German.
If you know some words, it would be nice if you joined the convo.
I'll tell you about your mistakes and we will have simple chat.
I will try to use simple phrases so you can understand me better.
If you need help, use this guide for reference -> http://piforums.info/showthread.php?t=1397
You may also use online translaotrs.
I'll try to explain the content of my posts.
The main idea of this thread is meant to make understanding German more easy for you.
Don't be afraid to ask if there is something you don't get.
Hallo!
Wie geht es euch?
Well, i'm simply saying "Hi" and asking everyone how they are.
If you read the guide you will notice that I didn't ask "Wie geht es dir?", but "Wie geht es euch?"
"euch" is used to address more people.

I like this idea; I'd like to practice my German, but I always think I'd mess up. I probably will.
Beware of random conversation...
Ganz gut~! =D
Meine Katze miaut. Sie ist laut.
Meine Familie gingen einkaufen. Ich kaufte nichts. Ich habe kein Geld. (Ich werde am Freitag meine Taschengeld bekommen.)
Now... Do we need to summarize what we're attempting to say? XD;
Hey Sammi,
your sentences are almost right, you did it very well. But there are some little mistakes. I feel free to correct them ;)
Meine Katze miaut. Sie ist laut.
Meine Familie gingen einkaufen. Ich kaufte nichts. Ich habe kein Geld. (Ich werde am Freitag meine Taschengeld bekommen.)
"gingen" is the past of "gehen". But "gingen" is for more than one grammatical person. So for example you can say "Sie gingen Einkaufen" or "Wir gingen Einkaufen". But the word "Familie" is one grammatical person, so you better use "Meine Familie war einkaufen." (My family was shopping.) or "Meine Familie ging einkaufen." (My family went to shopping.)
"meine" Means also like more than one, it's Plural (Mehrzahl). For example, "meine Schuhe" (Schuhe --> Shoes). You usually have more than one shoe.
If its Singular (Einzahl), you only have one. For example "My book" (Mein Buch), "My pocket money" (Mein Taschengeld). Taschengeld is often used in Singular, cuz' you only get "one" pocket money at one time.
I hope it was easy to understand. If not, please say what wasn't understandable.

Well, now my conversation.
Guten Abend! Mir geht es gut. Ich gehe jetzt duschen und sehe danach TV.
I just said "Good Evening. I'm fine. I will go to take a shower now and than, I will watch TV."

Hallo!
Wie geht es euch?
Hattet ihr ein schönes Weihnachtsfest?
Well, the standard phrases again and a question about your Christmas.
schön meines beatiful.
Weihnachtsfest (or simply "Weihnachten") means Chrsitmas.
hattet= Did you have?
ihr= you (adressing more people)
We should post here more often^^

A few corrections
Instead of saying "Und du?" you'd rather say "Und dir?" and instead of "köne" you'd say "kann"^^

I have a question:
What does 'Gott in Himmel' mean in German? Is it even German?

You'd actually "God im Himmel" and it means "God in heaven"
I think it means God in heaven
not sure though
BTW: was ist deine favo Fach?
It'd be better if you say "Was ist dein Lieblingsfach?" (das Fach, neutral so dein instead of deine)
Mein Lieblingsfach ist Englisch (hehe) und deins?
Mathe vinde ich schon(?), aber Deutsch ist schon(?) "how do I say "too"?"
Mathe finde ich schön, aber Deutsch ist auch schön :)
You use "auch" as "too" or sometimes also as "also"
ok, thanks for the tip!
aber heute, Schule was nicht schön :P
Ja das stimmt. Die Schule war richtig scheiße heute ^^"
Ja das stimmt. Die Schule war richtig ******* heute ^^"
fixed :P
ich habe keine shule [this] woche! :banana:
