what would you add?

I would finally add the option to pick how your character looks like.

The story should change a little as well and should be more dependent from your actions.
Legendaries should be more powerful in the way that they won't obey you instantly.
You should generally need to tame a pOkémon when catching it, the game should be alittle harder that way.

You should only be allowed to use as many Pokémon as you opponent does.
If you currently battle in the games, you can use all your Pokémon, no matter how many who you are battling has got.

I like the "story should depend on your actions" thats pretty cool.

I would pull another Gold/Silver/Crystel and add more than one region.

May people complained about this because it screwed up the level system of gym leaders and E4 members. So I found a way to kinda get rid of that problem.

By getting rid of the level system itself. Insted of leveining up in general. You choose what to upgrade with the experence points after a certin amount of time, you could use them to power up the Attack stats, the speed stats, etc, etc.

With this method, I can see more of different trainer styles, like an all power trainer, who only focuses on the attack stat, an all speed trainer, who focuses on the speed stat, a "defender" trainer, someone who focuses on Defence and Sp. Defence. you get the idea.

It would take a little more time to "train" your pokemon. But, I like that idea very much. But, thats just me

Maybe add Johto to Diamond/Pearl, make the Pokemon league stronger in G/S/C. They were just horribly weak

Personally, I love the Pokemon games the way the are. As I mentioned in another thread, however, I would add every single Pokemon into the game so that they are all catchable.

I'd want to pick clothes for my character, I'd want to catch event Pokemon (in the game, darn it! Without an event, I mean) and I would want more Shiny Pokemon. I mean, seriously. Ever since the Battle Tower in FR/LG (the girl with the Shiny Espeon) I have not seen any other NPC with a Shiny Pokemon. Someone out there must have a Shiny, right? Make it realistic, Nintendo.
