Too many baby Pokémon....

Anyone else think Nintendo are putting in too many baby Pokémon for D/P? They're cute and all but I prefer Evos of old Pokémon,not Pre-Evos.

The only the time they were alright was as stallers in the TCG, 'cause you had to flip to hit them. But apart from that, why waste time? Simple, Nintendo ran out of ideas. It explains the countless Unknown, too

Actually they arent too useless.

I know my favourite pokemon (Tauros) could do with a split gender pre evo with Miltank. That way it could get Egg Moves, and it could learn Preevo moves (Like if Baby stands, like Miltank, it could get Punches)

TBH I don't find them that useless, I mean in the new games the baby pokemon will de wild, so in my eyes they are a bit like the normall basic stage pokemon, the only problem I have with those babies is that most evolve by love...

I don't mind baby pokemon too much, but what I do mind is that they have pokemon come out, then later in another generation they all of a sudden have a pre-evo. D:

I don't mind them. In fact, I love baby Pokemon. I think they're a great addition, even though some people call them "useless." Who cares if they suck, use them if they're your favorites.

Making more baby pokemon is pointless, I mean there going to evolve anyway. Well there are two baby pokemon I like, Pichu and Wynaut. If they make pokemon like that then I have no problem with it.

The only reason they added baby Pokémon is cause they wanted to give a few of them pre-evolutions. But I agree with Bonemerang, does it really matter if they suck? There's nothing wrong using them if they're your favorites.

You got to admit, even though they completely suck at battling. Some of them look pretty cool.

I still think they're pretty pointless, but then again, they're also a nesesity.

Not all pokemon will come out looking like a Snorlax (can you imagine a baby Snorlax? and no, not munchlax, the days before when we all thought Snorlax was just one pokemon)

Most Baby Pokemon aren't very strong, but they are there for a point, I mean, reproduction, just like humans, it's not like we are born at 5 foot 11 and a beard is it? XD. It's just basically like that but with Pokemon, as they grow, they get the resemblence to whoever made them, etc.

But I do think there are too many, I really think they shouldn't have done one for Chimecho =/. And yes, it takes forever to get there happiness up for evolution, I had a Budew on the Rom, it didn't evolve until level 30, it was stupid.

I wanna see evos for older ones that don't have them.. like Tauros or Pinsir, I mean, every other has, just look at Electabuzz, Magmar and Scyther.

The happiness for evolution for nearly all of them annoys me, but other than that, I really like most of the baby Pokemon.

And, for those of you saying they're useless, they're not. They give their evolved forms new moves, and while they usually aren't too useful, some of them are, especially Wobbuffet with Encore ;P

I have no problem with all the babies. Yeah I'd rather have more "useful" Pokémon, but countless Pokémon are useless competitively but loved by many and adding more baby Pokémon is no different to adding other Pokémon that people like but would never use in battle.

baby pokemon are useless.they just get in the way...some baby pokemon are sopoesd to be there like pichu and munchlax.but now there are to many....they really just make it harder to fill up your pokedex to me

I dont personally see kippkipp, How you can single 2 Baby pokemon as "Needing to be there"? I mean, its just your personal preference.

IMO, only pokes that are 4ft and taller should have Preevos, so IIRC, the only pokemon that fulfil that requirement WITH Preevos are Snorlax, Mr Mime and Sudowoodo. So I dont see how "precious" Pichu "Needs to be there".
