Do you have any ideas to make the forums more known?
I already advertised at some sites, but it didn't seem to help....
Do you have any ideas?

Hey boss, I think the best way to get more members to your website is to join other popular forum sites and then advertize your forum their, some forum sites don't allow you to do this but some doesn't care. Some also have the advertize section. It's gonna take a while to find those forum sites but if you want your website to be the best, you gotta give it some time. :p .Just to make you happy, I already advertized your website at the 4 forums that I knew. I just posted them today so I didn't get many replies.
One more thing, I don't know if this is the place for it but I'm regardlessly asking. I think you should have a forum trashcan in you website because when admin or mod want to delete a topic or post, those deleted topics or posts can be stored in there (with a reason why they get deleted). This will prevents members keep asking why their topics/posts get deleted. You can clear the trashcan once a month or something. It's up to you boss. :o

thanks for advertising my forums^^
I already advertised at some other forums too
I hope it helps!
I don't know if I will make a "trashcan", because I don't want any mod to delete a topic.
they should just leave it where it is.

Well, did you try to advertise on yahoo or whatever search pages out there? I think that you should make the main page look....well....more intersting. You know, make a very nice frontpage with pictures and stuff and some news, then make a link lead to the forum^^.
EDIT:
I don't know if I will make a "trashcan", because I don't want any mod to delete a topic.
they should just leave it where it is. Well, I'm not saying that mods have to "delete" topics, I'm saying that if a topic stayed unactive (closed) for too long and it contains nonsense stuff, then mods can MOVE that topic to the trashcan forum. Then if the owner of that topic want to bring it back to "live" again, then he/she'll have to make more interesting. For example, there's a topic of "kyogrechamp" in the Ruby/Sapphire forum and it very simliar to another topic and Pika2000 closed it, it's no use to leave it in the forum right? since it has only one LITTLE post of hisown so I had to move it to the "active" forum cuz there is no other forum.

There will be a new forum for closed threads.
The archive is actually for old news only.
But now let's get back on topic, ok?
