The cloning in Emerald thread

I'm aware of the glitch thread, but I think this deserves it's own.

So, what do you think about it?

I think it's cheating. I won't use it. Another bad thing is that D/P's trades will be flooded with cloned Pokemon. Shinies will lose their value, everyone will have cloned ones.

Yeah its a real shame that some one has found this glitch.

I myself don't have Emerald but it's pretty much ruined the whole rare pokemon thing...

Same here, I don't really like the idea of cloning Pokemon. :(

Meh, I don't like the sounds of cloning myself, although it may be somehow useful for items you relaly need... ._.

I say that Pokemon should bring back the Bad Egg (http://trsrockin.com/dex_badegg.html), but make it work for any cheat or clone. That would bring smiles to my face.

Meh... if I used it, it'd only be for a select few items. :x I'm not into duplicating Pokemon just to have two of them. ^^;

However, my Emerald is lost in the abyss of our apartment. >_>;;

I like cloning, but only because it's helpful with items. I can clone TMs, and use them in my party.
But I don't do it to have two pokemon of the same kind <<

I think it's fine to do for your own benefit, but I'm a little iffy on cloning shinies with it and trading them to other people. I mean, it's fine to clone Rare Candies, TM's, Master Balls, Nuggets, and other rare and useful items for your own benefit, or if your friend couldn't get to Mirage Island and you gave them a Liechi Berry, then that's okay too. But, giving out tons of cloned shinies isn't right, or perfect IV Pokemon and stuff like that. However, I think it's okay to clone and trade Pokemon like Celebi, Mew, Deoxys, Jirachi, and other event Pokemon, since that just gives everyone the same opportunity to get one.

Never cloned a Pokemon in Emerald, and I most likely never will. I'm one of those people who thinks it is cheating.
