Amtrak and Pokemon USA are to present a "Gotta Catch a Ride to New York!" Sweepstakes now open through October 13, 2007. One lucky winner will win a 5 day/4 night trip to New York City with three family members to celebrate the 8th Movie installment and walk away with a 600 USD American Express gift card. To help encourage kids to ride the rails, a Pokemon themed train will run from boston to Washington, D.C. through the month of September while 20,000 sampler packs will be distributed at various stations. The pack will contain the Pokemon Fan Magazine, an All Ages manga sampler, a Pokemon Lucario and the Mystery of Mew movie poster, and information on the sweepstakes. The DVD will be released on September 19th.
