Ash has been confirmed to be in the new D/P anime.
His clothes also got a slight change.

The scan doesn't prove the fact that he will be in the show 100%, but why else would he be on the scan?

Also, the D/P animé has announced to start the 28th September.

It will also be a 2 hour special, regarding Hikari trying to trying to recover the Starters (According to the Japanese D/P site)

As for Ash still being in the anime...

*Sigh* I was hoping against hope that he would leave, I really wanted to see some new main characters. But, alas, the anime writers screwd me over yet again....

But so far according to the teaser posted on the Japanese D/P anime site it says that she gets lost on her way from what i'm assuming is Masago Town, trying to get to Futaba Town, which are neighboring cities

So i'm not too sure about thatI've heard that too, or something along those lines, but perhaps what U_S said could still apply. Perhaps she is a serious trainer, but she just got lost on the way to the professor's laboratory. Also, I think one of those towns in the first episode name is Pallet Town...
