Well, since R/B/Y have had their remake, do you think there should be a nwer version of GSC too?
I personally think they shouldn't.
There are already many Pokémon games and they'd better concentrate on the new versions and ideas for new games.

I'd love to see it. D: Of course, it probably won't happen. ;o;
Should they? Only if they have the time to.

That would be stupid, in my opinion. G, S and C are excellent games themselves, and a remake wouldn't be better than the actual games.
Thus, I think remakes are stupid and newer games are better.

I agree a remake wouldn't be such a good idea, they need to concentrate on. new games to make them better. ;D
The classics are good as they are I still like to play my Gold version every so often.

Personally, I'd like to see a remake of GSC. Too bad it won't happen, and a remake of GSC would be kinda pointless because of Fire Red/Leaf Green. You can already catch what's necessary in those versions with R/S. If they do make a remake of GSC, I don't see why I wouldn't buy it. Those were my favorite versions.

I'd love to see a remake of them! I especially liked the night and day factor.

I would also love a remake of Gold and Silver. Well they did do a remake of the Kanto Region why not Gold and Silver.

The only reason they made that is so we could complete our beloved National Pokedex.
So...there's no need for one now. And like some others said, they should concentrate on new games. But then, they could just have two divisions, one for new, one for remakes.

I'm not really sure. If they did remake it, I'd look at it to see graphics, etc. and then maybe buy it.

I love the idea since GSC were great games, but it is never going to happen. There is just no need now that all the Pokemon are catchable in RSE.

Personally I think it's an inevitability because of the amount of Johto references they put in Diamond and Pearl. I'd like to see it, GSC was my favourite generation for it's time and it'd be cool to go back.
What'd be a cool-but-never-going-to-happen idea would be a Johto exapanison pack of sorts for Diamond and Pearl.

This merely reminds me I wish they'd just make a big compilation game with all regions :(
And there are ways they could work around going to a new area with level 100 pokemon >3>

As mush as I would love to see a G/S/C remake. It's not going to happen.
Between D/P, thanks to the poketori, you can catch all pokemon from all regions, except for the legendaries and ubers from the GBA games. so a remake at this point is really out of the question for the developers.
Unless, they for some really odd and bizzare reason, add Jhoto to the D/P third game, which they won't.
But maybe some day. They will make a game with all regions...
Someday...
