Most of you probably know about the new battling system in DP, and how it changes "physical" and "special", while adding "other".
For those who don't, try looking here (http://www.serebii.net/diamondpearl/battlechange.shtml).
I made a list of the Pokemon that gain and lose from it:
Gain:
Lugia - gains a STABed Aeroblast.
Gengar - gains STABed Shadow Ball and Sludge Bomb (possibly), loses Ice Punch.
Sudowoodo - gains punches, may lose STABed Rock Slide (not very likely)
Hitmonchan - gains punches.
Medicham - gains punches.
Machamp - Gains Thunderpunch, Ice Punch and Fire Punch.
Espeon - Gains Shadow Ball.
Mewtwo - Gains Shadow Ball
Blaziken - Gains Thunderpunch.
(Physical) Rayquaza - Gains STABed Dragon Claw.
(Physical) Salamence - Gains STABed Dragon Claw.
(Physical) Dragonite - Gains STABed Dragon Claw + all punches.
Crawdaunt - Gains STABed Crabhammer and Crunch.
Mightyena - Gains STABed Crunch.
Granbull - Gains Crunch.
Kingler - Gains Crabhammer and STABed Crunch.
Flygon - Gains Crunch.
(Physical) Tyranitar - Gains Fire Punch and STABed Crunch.
Marowak - Gains Thunderpunch and Fire Punch.
(Special) Celebi - Gains Shadow Ball and STABed Sludge Bomb (possibly)
(Special) Latios - Loses STABed Dragon Claw
Lose:
Sceptile - Loses Leaf Blade, Thunderpunch, Dragon Claw, Crunch.
Alakazam - loses punches, gains Shadow Ball. Still is at a loss IMO.
Typhlosion - Loses Thunderpunch.
Scizor - Might lose Silver Wind.
Houndoom - Loses Crunch.
(Physical) Celebi [that Baton Passes Swords Dance] - Loses Shadow Ball and STABed Sludge Bomb (possibly).
(Special) Rayquaza - Loses STABed Dragon Claw.
(Special) Dragonite - Loses STABed Dragon Claw.
(Special) Salamence - Loses STABed Dragon Claw.
(Special) Tyranitar - Loses Fire Punch and Crunch. [Most Tyranitars are either mixed or solely physical, so there is no real special Tyrnaitar, hence no real loss]
(Physical) Latios - Gains STABed Dragon Claw
Feel free to add others that you think of.
Looking at this list, it seems that the biggest influence make the Punches, Shadow Ball, Crunch and Dragon Claw.

My opinion on the new battling system: It's a good way to keep veteran Pokemon players interested in the game, though it may overpower some Pokemon (for example Medicham).
It also provides a more rational (in my opinion) approach, which will be easier to understand by the new players. (it will also display on the attack screen whether th attack is Physical, Special or Other)
