Hello! – Olá!
Good Bye / Bye-bye/ Bye - Adeus
How are you? – Como estás? / Como está? (you say "Como estás?” when you are talking to people you know quite well, "Como está?" is used for older people or people you don't know well and is also more polite)
Fine – Bem
Bad - Mal
Thank you / Thanks – Obrigado/Obrigada (a male individual says “Obrigado”, while a female individual says “Obrigada”)
What’s your name? – Qual é o teu nome? (This is word-by-word translation. However, this expression isn’t used. The correct one is: Como te chamas?)
