I'm really looking forward to this, especially to the Wifi stuff.
It will be cool to be able to battle other trainers from all over the world (yes I know Netbattle exists).
Will use all Nintendo DS Features (touch screen, microphone, wifi)

But seriously. Thats cool! I actually stopped buying pokemon games already but now with the Wifi...it makes the game seem like it's worth it. They have a microphone for the game? o.o I think it's used so you can talk to people over Wifi. That's my guess. xD

It would be great when its possible to use the microphone while having a fight.
For example you can say "Pikachu! Thundershock" and the Pikachu will do this.

Nintendogs utilized it, but it really wasn't like a microphone, and most games just have you blow into it... so I'm thinking there's something fishy with that....

The microphone isn't advanced enough for chat, it's still pretty much the barbaric N64 microphone with some improvments.

Yeah, I kinda figured the microphone wouldn't be capable of doing something like that. But hey, you never know. ;)

I was also thinking about the touch screen should be used for items, pokemon, etc. I think it'd be a pretty easy and effective way to use the touch screen IMO. But I don't think it's gonna happen, it's just another one of my wild guesses. xD

Yeah a PI team match would pwn but I must warn you guys I suck xD. I think the microphone could be used to order pokemon to do moves (but that would be optional).

I'm pretty sure the touch screen will be used for quick access to your items, pokedex, etc, etc,, i'm also sure that it can be also used for touching the attack you want to use during battles.

As for that microphone telling your pokemon attacks, I don't know, I guess. I'm importing it when it comes out in Japan, I would have problems with it :P

REally? I've never seen one before. The only female Mr Mime I've ever seen is Sabrina's in G/S/C.

And I also remember reading that only Male Mr. Mimes exist, the only exception being Sabrina's.

How else would it have a pre-evo? They never make them as stand alone characters, you'd have to be able to breed two to get one...

Professor Nanakamado......, He looks more like a rich Business man than a professeor, or like an old Steven (really old)

and a weight and height comparison to yourself, That seems kinda useless to me :/

And Shinou looks interesting, half of the region is trees and cities, while the other half is all mountans with a large snowy mountan (Like Mt. Everest?)

It also says that Shinou will have the Kanto and Hoenn atmosphere (I may have mistranslated that though)

and the New pokedex looks like a DS :D

to me he looks very Grandfatherly. He's probably going to be a little less friendly than the other three Professors, but he's probably very smart. I bet you might even battle him, he looks like he'd be a pretty solid trainer.

I'm not liking the fact they're sort of veering towards such a mechanical look with the legendaries (kinda like groudon and Kyogre had those lines all over them...) but they don't look too bad. Maybe we shouldn't judge until we see what they really look like.

And I can't grab the box art because it's from Serebii. You can't copy or save any pictures from there (for those that don't get what the problem is).

And chances are that you will not be able to catch them all, but you will be able to take your pokemon from Ruby/Sapph/FireRed/LeafGreen/Emerald and bring them over to D/P

The new Legendaries control TIME & SPACE!! Well, One controls time, and the other controls space. (the Universe? :O )

Only 4 attacks, thats a bummer -_-

And of course, another rival other than the oppisite gender rival (he almost kinda looks like Emerald from the BF manga, ok, he doesn't, the hair just reminded me of it, the face reminds me of Wally)

Team Galaxy is the new evil orginazation, and they look weird, (like they were from another planet)

and, yea...

and from what i've seen the new D/P girl may become the new lead character for the anime (But I doubt it)

and I personally thin that Gingadan(Team Galaxy) is a step down from R/S/E, I also think that their bowl cut hair style threw me off

Cause I really liked the character design for Team Magma(With their red hoods and all)

In response to the unconfirmed updates to the game

I do hope there will be an "underground world" to Shinou. Hopefully it will make Shinou more interesting.

As for the new starters being Fighting/Dark/Psychic, no, I dont think that'll be them

It was kinda predictible that Roselia would have an evo for D/P (Especially since apperently 90% of the poekmon will evolve)

Looks like the Dark/Psychic/Fighting starters rumor is now crushed

The Grass one is named "ナエトル" "Naetoru" (Kinda reminds me of Chikorita)

The Fire one is named "ヒコザル" "Hikozaru" (Call me crazy, but that looks kinda cute)

and last but not least, the Water one is named "ポッチャマ" "Pocchama" (Heh heh heh, penguins)

Well, if my Japanese is not mistaken, it claims that the contests this time will give your pokemon power ups for battle, of course I could be wrong, and they are called "Super Contests" which has three stages the first appeal, dancing(?), and of course, the attacks appeal

Also, Serebii has confirmed that there is indeed an "Underground World"

It has to do with the Wifi connection, it's really underground, and which is where your secret base is located. you connect with Wifi and you can explore and visit other friends secret bases(With a frirend code nonetheless)
you basicly can dig in the underground world and find random items laying around as well as pokemon fossils.

You can also play games in this underground world with friends, like capture the flag.

Oh, don't get me wrong. It does sound sweet. But, an entire new underground Region-like place with underground cities, and an underground league to compete in would have tickled my fancy much more. :/

Nothing much is being said, The first pick on the top just asks which starter will be your partner for your journey.(Hikozaru, FTW :D)

the second "Ad" Just tells us that if you reserve Diamond, you get a free Diaruga figure, if you reserve Pearl, you get a Parukia figure, and if you reserve both, you get both PLUS a figure of one of the starters

The next one says of another way to obtain one of the figures, and thats to win one of them in the "Pokemon Daisuki Club", or something like that

The one under that says of the Pokemon garden, on Pokemons Yahoo kids website, you can wander around and talk to "staff" and they give you teasers about the game(One of those teasers was the Psychic, Dark, and Fighting starter that was proven wrong) as well as you can use the "Time machine" to view clips of older games, such as red/blue/yellow versions and such.

So, yea, the countdown continues untill I get my copy of Pearl(Import)

So, an interesting new twist added to the D/P game

in order to transfer your pokemon from GBA games to D/P you may only transfer 6 pokemon per day, and once you do, you have to re-catch them in a safari zone-like place. Of course, you have to meet several requirements(most likely beat the E4) before you can use this feature.

That may suck on my part, especially if they keep the same level as they are in my Emerald, as most of my pokemon are level 100 :O

BIG update!

First off:

The new gym leader's name is "Hyouta" and he is the leader of the Kurogane City Gym he is head of the "Kooru Badge" ('Kooru' = Coal or core)

He has 3 pokemon and I don't know what they are, there was a speculation from a Japanese blogger who was right about the starters, so, yea

the Galaxy leader is a female and her name is "Maazu" which is apperently named "Mars"

Diaruga and Parukia's types are revealed:

Parukia is Water/Dragon
Diaruga is Steel/Dragon
(No real big surprise that they are both of the Dragon type)

The blue small dinosaur-looking one on the left side is named "Zugaidosu" which is just a plain rock type

The one below it is named "Tatetopusu" and is a rock/steel

the one on the right on the top (the one covered in leaves) is named "Misomucchi" and it is a bug type

and the one right below it another crazy looking plant thing is called "masukippa" and is a plain grass type

and below those two pokemon are two new pokeballs called the "Hiiru" ball and the "Daaku" ball, it may translate to "Heal" ball and "Dark" ball, as to what they do, I cannot read the small text next to it, so we'll have to wait for a better sorce to find out what it says.

it seems as though you can do alot of stuff with the wi-fi, such as compete in super contests, team up with a friend and take the battle tower dual-battles, make pofin with friends online(pokebread), join a colliseum club and battle random people through Wi-fi, and the union room, you can just chill with other fans and draw pics, and voice chat. Finally there is a new faeture in the battle tower which is called "Mixed battle" from what it sayd you can have 3 on 1 pokemon battles or 2 on 1 or just mix and match.

The one on the top right is named "korobooshi" as we all should know which is a Bug type

and the cute little cat-like thing right below it is named "Korinku" which is an Electric type

and that little plant/seed thing below that is named "Supomii" which is a Poison/Grass type and apperently it is a Roselia pre-evo

The one on the top right is "Mukkuru" which we should kinda know, it's type is Normal/Flying type and has an attack called "Brave Bird"
the one right below is the Chansey pre-evo (or so i'm assuming, but it doesn't say that it is) is called "Pinpuku" which is a Normal type

and the one next to it is some really odd beaver looking thing called "Bippa" which is also a Normal type

I couldin't read all of it, but what I got was that you were in a big pinch with some wild pokemon, and by chance you find the briefcase in the grass feild and open it to find the 3 pokeballs, you pick which starter you want, and you go on to battle a wild mukkuru, then you return to Futaba Town to give the briefcase back to the professor(since apperently he forgot it?) and lets you keep the starter for bringing back the briefcase(at least, thats what I think it says)

My Japanese is still pretty bad, so we will have to wait untill the pages get translated by a better translator, I did my best, and also,

D/P is not a short game like the previous games. I have to admit Im amazed that this is the first game that took me more than 2 weeks to complete.
And also unlike previous games the Elite-4 is tougher, And the number of Legendaries is pleasing.
