This thread is for guests, to find out what would raise their interest in the forums.
So people, what would make you join?
Why do you just browse the forums but not join them?
Do you miss anything special here?

I'd really appreciate it if you replied...

I don't know. It's just that since I'm already a member of another forum, joining a second one would seem like it would be too much to deal with, replying to all the posts and threads, keeping up with friends, etc.

I'm not sure why I don't visit these forums more often. I daresay it's probably negligence on my part, but I find it tricky to keep up with about five forums that I should regularly visit (SPPf, this one, ANAL, Fatal-from-SPPf's site, and a private forum where all of my real-life friends congregate). From what others have said about me, I seem to be quite the loved member at SPPf so evidently I spend most of my time there.

Maybe if I wasn't so loved I would check up on those other forums. :(

I can handle going to more forums pretty well, yet I'm only very active in 2 of them.
PI isn't that active, so it shouldn't be that much stress to keep up with all that stuff^^

Maybe not but it still takes extra time to post and such. Think about it, some people may browse many forums they aren't a member of. And while those forums may be small, if they join and posted at them all it'd add up to a lot of extra time they'd have to spend at them.

I knew about this forum for a long time and it took be a while for two main reasons. One being I was trying to keep the amount of forums I go to low because going to too many makes it easy to neglect one which isn't something I want to do. Another is this is a Pokemon forum and I'm already a member at SPPf, BMGf, and PD which are also Pokemon forums.

People try to not be too many forums especially when they're about the same thing.

BTW, I used to have a section for guest feedback at some of my old forums. Perhaps I'll try it again.
