Well, this thread is for discussing the pros and cons of several browsers (DUH!).
I recently switched to Opera and I think it's quite ok.
Ok, here are the pros and cons of the browsers I tried out, based on my experience (of course)
Opera
+
-Very fast, especially with downloading
-Hardly ever crashes (it didn't crash for me yet)
-Tabbed browsing
-Doesn't use many computer resources
-Handy password manager
-
-Has a weird way of displaying some things (Opera likes centering almost everything)
-Doesn't work properly with MySQLDumper (well, most of you might not care, but I do)
Firefox 1.5
+
-Fast and safe
-Tabbed browsing
-Password manager
-
-Crashes very often
-Downloadmanager can be unhandy
Internet Explorer
-
-Slower than other browsers
-Not that many features
-Insecure
Where did the pros go? o.o
Well anyway, just post your opinions on that topic.

These are the ones I use.....
Firefox
(my browser of choice)
+Fast and safe
+Tabbed browsing
+Open-source... Gotta love that ^^
+Doesn't crash, from my experience (unless I bog it with tons of extensions)
+Built-in DOM inspector
+Has an extension system with which it can do anything (I especially love the webdesign features & the validator)
-Some of the extensions don't like each other, resulting in crashes and unexpected behavior
Links
(my low-footprint browser & web design consistency checker)
+Uses very, very few memory and other resources
+Useful to test accessibility of your pages
+Text mode, so you can use it from a console (sacrificing pictures, of course)
-No CSS support
-Very few features
Opera
(my special-needs browser; I don't use it too much so I don't know too much about it)
+Pretty fast
+Yes, it crashes.... It crashed on me just today... But not often
+Tabbed browsing
+Has the option to reload a page periodically (which is what I use Opera for)
+Nice standards support
+Very smooth scrolling, even when overlays are used
-Looks an acts in a different way than the other browsers (UI-wise, not with displaying pages)
-Not as well-known because it used to display ads in the free version
Internet Explorer
(I use this to make sure my pages work on IE. It has no other use IMO)
-Very bad standards support
-weird glitches that appear randomly and you have to work around them to get pages to work
-no download manager
-no tabs
-integrated into Windows, so it brings down parts of your system when it crashes
-integrated into Windows, so its security holes affect your whole system
+integrated into Windows, so it loads faster (once you load Windows, that is)
+easy-to-use OCX one can use in custom programs

The newer FireFox (1.5.0.1) is better.
I've switched back.
Opera might be technically better, but I've just gotten used to Firefox...

Hm...
I've used 3 browers: IE, Firefox and Netscape.
IE:
+ Glow tags? XD
- No tabs
- No popup blockers (unless you get a toolbar, and I think one of the Mircosoft SP has one, doesn't it? o_O)
Firefox:
+Tabs
+Looks better than Netscape
+Built-in popup blocker (instead of having to get some annoying toolbar from another site)
-The version of Firefox I had liked to crash on me quite a bit. It was only the newer versions though. My older one hardly did.
Netscape:
+Tabs
-The version I had didn't have a built-in popup blocker (supposedly, the newer versions do)
-Donsn't look as nice as Firefox xP

For testing purposes I have Netscape (the slowest of the bunch), Internet Explorer, Opera and Firefox. I generally use Firefox to browse stuff. Internet Explorer just gives me loads of trojans due to the way it caches files. Opera is by far to most secure, but I don't think their customizability since it can be annoying to get stuff the way you want. Firefox has some great extensions up for offer which I use everyday.
I guess it's just personal choise (sp?).
Firefox:
+ Tabs
+ many Addons
++ great Japanese language addons (mouseover-dic, kanji lookup, ..)
+ shows websites very properly
+ good speed
+ stable
+ freeware
- when uploading to a new version, maybe some extensions won't work
IE
+ many people use this
- it supports Microsoft standarts, other browsers don't do
- crashes often

Firefox only crashes for me when I use PDF things occasionally, but otherwise I don't have a problem.
Internet Explorer is ... awesome. If you're using IE7 BETA 3 that is. It's faster, tabbed, and it really looks sharp. Honestly, I wouldn't mind using it as my default browser.
Opera is ok, loads things kinda slow on my computer though. It also has issues with opening tabs in links, because they take forever to start loading.

Also, I'll add that Firefox can display .PNG files properly. I don't know about the other browsers, but IE can't show the transparent pixels the way they're meant to be.

I've only used Internet Explorer and Opera, which I'm still using after getting used to it. I have FireFox too, but I rarely use, if ever, though sometimes to view pages that it is incompatible with Opera.
Opera:
+
- Tabbed browsing, and that's love for me. <3
- Much faster than IE, though I don't know if I could compare it with Firefox, with loading pages, etc.
- Doesn't really crash for me, if ever did.
- And probably other things I haven't messed around with.
-
- Takes a while to load when I start up the computer, but that may be my own fault.
- Not compatible with certain layouts, where they are compatible in either IE or FireFox.
Internet Explorer:
+
- Uhh.. can view some pages that Opera can't...
-
- Slow in loading pages, etc.
- A lot of ads, unless you get some kind of pop-up blocker or something.
Ehh.. I suck at this. ._. Plus, Opera was recommended by a very special person. <3 So I'm so used to it, that I can't stray away from it now... ^^

Internet Explorer:
+ Easy start-up
+ Fast
- Address bar tends to take ages to load at times
+ Javascripts work fine on it
+ Doesn't have a zillion features I don't give a darn about
+ Can install a pop-up blocker for it
+ Can patch it to make it secure
- Crashes at times. But.... all of my browsers do.
+ Can copy + paste images in Paint
- Need to save images as .BMP at times
- Can't see a lot of .PNG files
Opera:
- Looks waay too cluttered to me, doesn't look inviting to me to setup my preferences
Therefore: - Ctrl + T = no new tab
+ Doesn't care about many right-click disablers
Firefox:
- Takes a lot of time to load
- Gets rid of my bookmarks whenever it feels like
- Can't get rid of urls in address bar
- However, deletes urls I WANT after a while
- Is fairly slow to me
+ Can copy images + paste in Paint
+ Tabbed browsing
+ Includes pop-up disabler
Netscape Navigator:
+ Is fairly fast in starting and browsing
+ Tabbed browsing
- Can't seem to copy an image and paste in Paint
+ Easily get rid of frames
- Annoying password manager
+ Includes pop-up blocker

Firefox is my favourite, it's reliable to me. I used to use Internet Explorer, and before that was Netscape.
