A poll about the masterball.

Yeah, this is just a random thing I thought about today, when I was thinking about my little brother using that master ball I deposited in his game.

What do you usually use your Masterball on?

I usually use it on those hard-to-catch legendaries, you know, the ones that always run away (Suicune, Raikou, Entei, Latios, Latias). If I don't use it to catch one of those, I use it on another legendary.

really I try not to use it at all... gives me a challenge... when you have the foe with 3 different status effects and still can't capture it without wasting 50 different ultra balls... lol

I just use it on any legendary I really want and cant be bothered to waste time wearing down. You know how it is, when youre on the plane and running out of battery etc. Or maybe you dont.

I usually use mine on hard to catch legendaries(Lati@s, Legendary dogs). It's just easier that way.

I tend to use it for the ones that run away...... I used to try not using it, but then I had to trade ten Master Balls to a new game when I started one.... Not fun at all ^^

I use the Master Ball on ones that run away. My reason for using it? I use the master ball because I don't really wish to waste my time trying to catch strong pokemon, it takes too long. You already use up enough time trying to train pokemon.

I use it on the "ultimate legendary". No, not the one that runs away (I catch them with normal Balls), I mean Mewtwo, Ho-oh/Lugia and Rayquaza.
Edit: I just remembered! Once, in Blue I had all of the Pokemon (including legendaries) and I hadn't used my Master Ball. I decided I didn't need it and caught a Fearow with it xD

I used it on Latios in Ruby, Rayquaza in Sapphire, and I haven't used it in Emerald yet. If I ever get the map thingy to Mew's place, then I'll use it on him.

Depends. I don't really use it unless it's a really rare Pokemon that randomly appeared in the wild and I don't want to risk it running away or me killing it.

Though I used it on whatever I wanted in Red/Blue because of the Missingno cheat making me have as many as I wanted. ;P

Unless I'm hacking the game to hell, I usually use this:

Red/Blue: Mewtwo, though the first time I used it on Zapdos. What an ownage looking Pokémon.
Gold/Silver: Usually Suicine for the diamond thingy on it's head also looks the ownage.

In Pearl, my original plan was to use it on one of the "Harder" Legendaries/Ubers (Hiidoran/Girantia)

However, when I got to Parukia, half my team was fainted from battling Galaxy Boss Akagi. and after that, Professor Nanakazado and Hikari came and wouldin't let me leave and heal, so I had to face a Parukia with half my team fainted and my strongest pokemon in bad shape, I told myself "Screw it!" and used the Master Ball on Parukia.

and there are TWO runaway Pokemon in D/P one of the Psychic trio and the moon one (I forget their names)

Hm... well, I usually clone them, BUT without cloning, I use it on a hard-to-catch legendary when I'm resetting for a good nature, and I always carry an extra cloned Master Ball in case I run into a shiny that has Roar, Whirlwind, or another way to instantly end the battle.

I don't use it. I used it once one Latios on Ruby, but I did regret that right away.
I'm that kind of person that throws a regular Pokéball at every single pokémon.
Maybe I will use them in the future, to catch Legendary's fast and check their IV's.

I never used any Masterballs in any of my Pokemon games. I like to keep them for some reason. :p
